🌙 The Desert Rabbit 🌵
18x24 Acrylic on Canvas

For weeks I followed her through dreams and liminal spaces and in time she led me to my grief for a version of myself unbridled by purpose~ free to be recklessly wild, no fear for any outcome. In the moonlight we sat- my grief, the rabbit, and I, sharing stories and tears until grief was a silvery pool of peace in my heart. And onward we’ve gone, sweet rabbit and me to new wilds woven with care and purpose and endless love~ velvet alongside cactus spines. She is my guide through the desert as I gather the growth and medicine waiting for me here ✨💫 taken in Santa Fe, New Mexico by @sunshinepadawan

🌺☀️Return to Self☀️🌺

Acrylic on Canvas. I haven’t measured it.

I haven’t posted anything from my stay at Mauser House just yet because there’s no way to convey the magic that transpired there for me. I pushed through a block in my artwork I’ve battled for years. I sunk into an embodiment and connection with myself I’m not sure I’ve ever had as an adult. This painting was for no one but me ~ to play and practice and find joy on the canvas again.
Endless gratitude to the sweet jungle and all the creatures and people of Mauser 💫 by @sunshinepadawan

Disco what? 🪩🐌

20 plus hours of work went into making these disco ball snail shells which was a wild process that both questioned my will to live and yet was ultimately so rewarding. Thanks to my fucking ride or die for the commitment and not letting us give up 💗

I haven’t made much art in months.
So many pieces of life have been heavy.
I’m a Leo flower grown in a Scorpio’s garden.
Heartache and grief are so searing
My sun numbs to ice
I’ve felt myself wither with winter
I pushed myself to just open my sketchbook
I found a moment of warmth
And that’s enough for now sweet one ✨🌸💫💗 by @sunshinepadawan
