What started as a trip for my convocation turned into something much bigger.
From Guwahati to Delhi by train, I met strangers who felt familiar — students from Mizoram, an English professor, a senior education officer, even Central Reserve Police Force officers — and somewhere between conversations about books, life, and random stories, the journey already felt special.

Then came convocation at Lovely Professional University — delayed by two years, surrounded by people from different batches, old friendships, nostalgia, and moments that felt both late and right at the same time. After saying goodbye again, I sat outside the college gate wondering what to do next… and decided I wasn’t ready to go back to routine.

So, I took a bus towards McLeod Ganj. No plan, just a feeling. The mountains slowed everything down. I met travelers exploring themselves, an art student studying Hindi literature, DJs who became friends, shopkeepers, a grandpa selling flutes, and random people who turned ordinary moments into stories. I walked the streets, sat in cafés, spent quiet time at the Tsuglagkhang Complex, got lost in conversations, recovered deleted memories, and kept moving.

There was the Triund trek — long walks, new companions, silence, laughter, and the kind of tiredness that feels good. Somewhere between climbing uphill and watching sunsets, I realized I wasn’t searching for anything big — just space to breathe.

From train rides to mountain paths, this trip reminded me that destinations matter less than the people and moments you collect along the way.

Journey ended.
Life goes on — until the next one begins.
