Lots of appreciation for these two who take a page from Arwen’s book and understand that our mortal world is sprinkled with divine infiniteness ✨ Was so much fun working on this project together.

Should you choose to pass through the threshold, which direction will you go?

We suggest you listen to Aniron as you ponder- currently available on SoundCloud and coming soon to all streaming platforms. by @sunyata_sound

Aniron (Arwen’s Theme) is out now for your listening pleasure. Our first collaboration but second release together, it is a sonic approach to concepts explored by Tolkien in his writings. As summarized by @sunyata_sound :

“What does it mean to choose a mortal life, knowing that everything you love will eventually pass away? Inspired by Arwen’s choice to give up immortality for love, Aniron explores the way in which beauty, impermanence, and life on earth are bound together.”

You can find a more thorough exploration of these ideas on soundcloud and bandcamp.

Huge love to @iris_tigress for being our elven muse and helping the visual side of this piece come to life 🧝‍♀️🌲

Happy Earth Day! 🌱

Thought it might be a fun challenge to produce a snippet of music and make visual content to go along with it within a 24 hour period. The energy of the day came through and I found myself pondering the ancient majesty of the bristlecone pine.

Loving it all because of its fleeting nature, not despite it. Check out my new song Theaceae, a gentle and joyous journey through various stringed instruments, bass, and field recordings. Though deeply personal and specific in meaning to me, it seems to offer a really reflective surface for everyone who listens to it- so I won’t bother with an over explanation. Enjoy! by @sunyata_sound

Dropped a new one with my brotha @sunyata_sound last week 🏜️🐫
Stoked on the shared vision that brought this one into the fore. Was a fun exploration of sound & mythos, continuing humanity’s tradition of asking questions of the universe through art…

Link where links be :)

I love you all by @sunyata_sound

TIMBYR and Sunyata Sound musically convene to bring you a journey through the desert…a bright sun, shifting sands, and an ancientness more felt than seen.

The vocals are sung in Aramaic, a language over 3,000 years old and used by the Assyrian, Babylonian, and Persian empires. One can only imagine the stories and lives weaved with these words, the mysteries yet unwoven…

Out now on @lunarbassrecords

As the dust settles from last weekend, and the footage rolls in, I can’t help but be amazed that I got to participate in such a wonderful event. Everyone really showed up! The crowd was lively, the music poppin, the visual arts inspiring and the sound powerful yet clear. I could go on and on!

On a personal note, after years of experimentation with production and a two month grind to craft an original set for the night, it was so rewarding to watch my inner life transition to a larger space. Especially considering that transition was mediated by a 4 point function one system! (Thanks @publicworkssf !)

Huge shout out to @thematicent and @hearthproductions for having me out and also being extraordinarily solid people. The opportunity to open for some of the artists that inspired me from the beginning is a blessing for life.

@r.aw_photography photography captured these great shots and @whycole got the videos. Thank you guys!

I invite you to check out:

Slide 4, a tune that will be released into the wild on March 20th… more on that later

Slide 5 & 6, when @timbyrfae joined me on stage to play out a collab with great promise.

And slide 10, the gifts of the night.

Thank you all for an unforgettable evening- until next time! by @sunyata_sound
