Sebastian Martinez of Super Design Studio is a #WantedDesignMember

Through his practice, @super.design.studio , Sebastian explores the dialogue between digital fabrication and traditional craft—creating pieces that aim to hold meaning beyond the moment. His work pushes against the culture of fast furniture, proposing objects designed to last, both physically and emotionally.

Convergence reflects this approach: a dining table where American walnut meets blackened steel, balancing warmth and precision in a single form. More than a piece of furniture, it becomes a study in tension, coexistence, and presence.

Introducing Convergence—our first piece, and a statement of intent.

This high-end lounge chair was designed to embody intentionality, craftsmanship, and tangibility in a digitally saturated world. More than furniture, it’s a response to the ephemeral nature of mass production.

Each curve, joint, and surface was considered and crafted through an iterative process that merges digital tools with traditional making. Stress-tested in virtual space, refined by hand—Convergence is meant to be experienced in its tangibility, not behind a screen or rendering.

We’re honored to debut it @wanteddesign Launch Pad at @icff_official this May.
