Actually it was our first time making dumplings from the scratch and we can call it a success 🤠

For the dough:
350g wheat flour
200ml water (room temperature)
1 tsp salt
2 tbs oil

Mix the flour with salt and oil, and start gradually adding water while mixing everything together. When mixed start kneading with your hands for few minutes until it creates a nice and smooth ball. Place it in a bowl and cover with a towel. Leave to rest till you make the filling.

For the filling:
Well here you can just be creative and add whatever you like! For example we made 2 different ones:
1. Shredded carrots, cabbage, leek, garlic, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, tomato paste, tofu
2. "Minced" soy, mushrooms, cabbage, onion, garlic, soy sauce, tomato paste, cumin, nutmeg, black pepper, cayenne pepper

How to make:
1.Cut your dough in 4 peaces and roll out each of them (or roll all of it if having a big surface ofc).
2.Roll the dough pretty thing but not too thin (it shouldn't be transparent or it'll break).
3.Cut it into circles using a cup. Place in your palm and stretch out just a little bit from all the sides.
4.To the center of the circle add your filling, make sure to not put too much or it'll not close / will break.
5.Close the sides pressing gently with your fingers or you can use a fork instead. You can leave them moon shaped or put both ends together and press like in a video.

When all ready you can either boil them, cook on a pan or bake in the oven. Serve with a sauce of your choice, we chose to eat it with some homemade vegan sour cream. 🥟🥟🥟

Cheesy toast lovers - here are some good news for you! 🧀 🙉 Just a little while ago @biteme.riga opened its doors and guess what - they are very vegan friendly! 💚🌱

📸 Mushroom & @tofu.lv cheese toast, vegan salami cheese toast

There are no specifically marked veg options - but almost every dish can be made vegan!

We really liked both options that we took, it had just enough cheese, taste was delicious and the bread was super crunchy as well ✨

Possibly the most beautiful smoothie bowls out there 🍓🫐🍌 @rainbowls.amsterdam 🌈

We also tried the Pink bowl with dragon fruit. Both were very nice, not too sweet. Taste and texture were great and look how beautiful it was!

The only thing we'd comment on is that it was a little too cold, which makes sense since some fruits/berries are frozen but for the cold winter season it wouldn't be our number one option. 🙈 Although for summer time it would be great and refreshing! ☀️
