Day 5
Pretty uneventful day. Lilly is just resting and healing. They started a new antibiotic and have started using the PICC. But can’t take iv out yet. That’s been her only complaint the entire time here! The iv being uncomfortable. I’ve had to start buying clothes from the gift shop lol. But at least it’s my style….. another day of healing and rest tomorrow. She needs it. 🤟🏼💪🙏❤️ by @superb143

Day 4
Surgery day! Wasn’t supposed to be till 2 but they had an opening she went back at 7. Might take about 2 hours! I’ll keep y’all posted. 🙏🤲 by @superb143

Day 3
Met with lots of doctors today going over the plan again for tomorrow. As of now surgery is scheduled for 2pm. We fed her lots of food and favorite things today because no food or drink after midnight and with the surgery not till 2 tomorrow she will be starving. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming. I’m a nervous wreck. Tomorrow will be a big, long day. by @superb143

Day 2
Up before the sun
Woke up to a team of 7 doctors in the room. Went over the plan again. Just getting her full of heavy antibiotics until surgery Friday. Stay on the iv. Which she’s not happy about. by @superb143
