🐾 𝑀𝒶𝑔𝑔𝒾𝑒 𝒫𝒶𝓉𝒸𝒽𝑒𝓈 | 2011-2025 🐾

Over the summer our sweet Mags passed on to Heaven. 🕊️ It’s been a couple of months, but I’ve struggled to find the right words to describe how important this pup meant to our family. I keep reflecting on the day we adopted her and Hermione.

I was eleven when my mom took my sisters and I on a winter drive out near park city. She surprised us first with our kitten. 🐈‍⬛ Then, satisfied as we were with Hermione, my mom made a stop at a snowy little barn. After telling us to wait in the car, I found a KSL ad for puppies in the glove box. I snuck out and followed my mom where I saw a litter of Border Collie / Corgi mixed pups! 🐶 As I stood there, the only puppy to run towards me was her. 🤍 And I knew she was ours, from that moment. Our Maggie!

She had a good 14 and a half years of life! She was a goofball little girl!! She and Hermione enjoyed chasing each other as much as relaxing side by side. I know my cat misses her sister, she’s been so clingy since June. Maggie also loved treats and she knew how to shake a paw, spin, sit, jump, and play dead. She did love running in the snow!! She was so gentle around kids and new friends. She made us laugh with her brown puppy dog eyes, her silly smile, her short legs and poofy corgi bum. She’s our family 🥲 our Moogs.

I have a strong faith in the plan of salvation and afterlife for God’s children. But I personally believe that also extends to all of His creations, especially His animals. So I know in my heart that I’ll see my little silly bubbas again one day! For now she’s up there keeping my grandparents company and being our guardian angel! 🪽

Rest happy my little love! 🥺✨ Run, Maggie, run! by @supercute_lizzard
