LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, INTRODUCING YOUR 2026-27 SUPERFANMEN‼️

Harlan Smith: This stud marksman owns both the soccer nets and the ergs on campus, captaining the crew team. When he isn’t dominating the field and water, he’s carving up some of the greatest wood and metal builds to come out of the woodshop. Harlan Smith is an all around encapsulation of a Marksman; not only is he an acolyte in chapel with Father Arbogast, but he fires up the school at every event. If you don’t know who he is yet, you will this fall.

Brooks “Maino” Main: Brooks means business, no matter if it’s on the o-line or reading the putting line, from the gridiron to the green. Helping the Lions win the 2025 SPC Championship in golf, Brooks is confident under pressure. No matter the situation, Brooks’s presence will ensure that every game and gathering feels like the MAIN event. Whether he’s protecting the quarterback or chasing another trophy, Brooks always brings championship-level focus and school spirit.

Blaize “Schuh” Schumacher: QB1 on the field, Managing Editor for the yearbook, and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Club, Blaize can do it all. Whether he’s threading the needle on 4th down or making sure the yearbook looks legendary, he brings the energy anywhere he goes. Wherever you look around campus, you will find this guy “BLAIZING” with school spirit, ready to cheer on his fellow Marksmen.

Henry McGill: Can he kick it? Yes he can, and he can punt it too. This Marksman has a leg of steel. He’s the kicker AND punter for the Lion’s football team, and he helps defend the Lion’s net as right back in soccer. When he’s not using his thunder thigh, you can find him cracking jokes in improv and snapping photos for the award winning SMPHOTO program. His spirits, like his kicks, will always be up…and good!

Tex Davison: Top tier chef in his free time, this guy serve as the president of the Elevated Cooking Club but ALSO cooks on the basketball court. He can jump like a kangaroo and cheer like a true TEXan. Catch this Marksman running community service projects and golfing in his free time. He brings the energy from the land down under with his accent booming across campus.

Washington and Lee University ‘31

I am blessed to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Washington and Lee University.

First and foremost, I want to give all the glory and praise to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without Him I am nothing. He has gifted me an opportunity to play the game I love and I am forever grateful for what he has done, what he is doing, and what he will continue to do in my life.

Next, I would like to thank my parents, Akua and Douglas Dickson. Thank you for all the sacrifices and effort you have poured into my life to get me to where I am today and for the many blessings and unthinkable opportunities you have given to me. You guys have been the most inspirational and loving people that I have ever known. I hope to make y’all proud and to continue walking in the way of the Lord.

Next to my brothers, Donnell and Douglas. I would not be near where I am today if I did not have you two right by my side. I hope to make you both so proud and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for y’all. I love y’all.

To 5:37, what can I say but I love every single one of y’all. It’s always been us and I wouldn’t have wanted to do life with anyone else but y’all.

To Coach Flaherty, Coach Dilworth, Coach Reggie, Coach Jackson, Coach Love, and Coach Scags, thank you so much for pushing me to be my best even when I didn’t think I could do it. The hard work and dedication you guys have put into my life will never be forgotten.

Lastly, to Coach K, Coach LeRose, and all the Washington and Lee staff, thank you for the opportunity to play for such an amazing program.

I am excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and water polo career at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois!

First, I want to thank my family for their unconditional love, encouragement, and constant support throughout this journey.

I am also incredibly grateful to my coaches- Coach Calder, Coach Dornin, and Coach Hudak- for their guidance, mentorship, and belief in me over the years. They have challenged me, pushed me beyond my limits, and helped me develop the skills, discipline, and determination that have shaped me both in and out of the pool.

Finally, thank you to Coach Pryor for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be part of the Augustana water polo program. I can’t wait for the next four years with you and my new teammates!
