The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Competition. Ford took the win at Le Mans in '66, so Ferrari's retort was 3 prototypes winning the American Rolex 24 at Daytona the following year. Although it was never official, this Ferrari is recognized as the "Daytona" because of this spiteful victory.

What comes before B? 🤔🤔 #hipsdontlie by @superfreshcarpics

Flame-thrower or race car?🏎️🔥 Why not both? 🤔 Downshifting can result in excess fuel escaping through the exhaust (thanks to the absence of a catalytic converter). This fuel is ignited by the heightened temperature of the exhaust pipes, causing a visible explosion and audible crack (sometimes melted body panels). When this M3 GTR was entering corner 7 of Hutchinson Island raceway, the driver downshifted at the same point every lap. So when you look at this photo, understand that this is a precise collaboration of many scientific, car-loving, time-smoking adrenaline junkies over the past 17 years. Just so you could see a car spitting flames. 🤗
