If everything could ever be this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I’ll ever ask of you
You’ve got to promise not to stop when I say when

Our family exists because of Nirvana. That’s the truest and simplest way I can say it. I could write so much about how and why. Then the guy who came a few years later was the closest thing I’ve ever found to how Nirvana made me feel and who I’ve known for over 25 years. Today our whole family got to chat with BOTH people involved in each of these monumental bands. They were so gracious with Lennon who has asked me so many times “how many times have you met Josh?”. For me personally I got to one on one tell Dave how much everything ever in the world, my world, was rocked by the band he was in. How it meant everything. How it still does. I will never ever get over that. #davegrohl #joshhomme #nirvana #queensofthestoneage #foofighters @foofighters @queensofthestoneage @foozies.foofightersnews @betterlivingthroughqotsa taken in Cleveland, Ohio by @superfuzz.frontrow

I really love 70s classic rock. So despite Sturgill Simpson not being really my thing, I gave Johnny Blue Skies a try. I absolutely love the latest record and couldn’t stop singing it for months. There’s a little bit too much boot goofin when it comes to a lot of his other work for me personally but JBS is a noticeably different tone and knew I had to see this tour to get as many of those songs as possible. I will say by the end I was enjoying more songs from outside of just JBS. #johnnyblueskies #sturgillsimpson #concertphotographer #concertphotography #pittsburgh taken in Petersen Events Center by @superfuzz.frontrow

@chelseawolfeofficial put on a perfectly haunting show last night in Pittsburgh. With the newest album, The Dark, I immediately noticed a creative jump and was excited to hear those songs live. Beautifully simple stage visuals that fit perfectly with the feel. Getting to see this show in October added to how hard it hit for me last night. #chelseawolfe #thedark #goth #concertphotographer #concertphotography @librarymusichall by @superfuzz.frontrow

One of my untouchable top 5 bands of all time playing an entire set from one of my top 5 albums of all time. Truly an incredible show and night with @smashingpumpkins , my family, and friends. This is arguably the best SP show I’ve ever seen. The first MCIS set alone is enough and then there is a whole second show of rippers! Hearing some songs live I’ve never heard before is tough to do nearing 20 SP shows and I got several here tonight. This band has always been a big part of life and love for @bellneelia and I, but for the first time we got to share that with our boy. Today was actually the greatest day I’ve ever known. #smashingpumpkins #thesmashingpumpkins #billycorgan #concertphotographer #concertphotography @ppgpaintsarena @billycorgan @chamberdrums @jackbates_music @jamesihaofficial @kikiwongo taken in PPG Paints Arena by @superfuzz.frontrow

Every punk rock kid has wanted the experience of singing these songs live. @cartercookjonesmatlock bring this to life for everyone who never had the chance and it was the similar “holy fuck is this real?” experience to seeing The Original Misfits shows. @frankcarter23 is the guy for this task and beyond delivers vocally and esthetically. Hearing @jonesysjukebox guitar come alive was a jolt cause it sounded so unmistakable and smash cut me to those early days of getting so obsessed with this punk rock thing that would become my entire world. Make sure you see this tour and have the surreal experience of singing “I wanna be anarchy” with room full of people who have waited forever to have this. #sexpistols #cartercookjonesmatlock #punkrock #concertcrap #concertphotography @paulcook @glenmatlock1

@badbadnerves finally brining a headline stop to Pittsburgh and delivering the way I needed to experience them. The ideal small club, high energy, punk show. If you don’t know this band, I’d be fucking nervous about being a loser. See you guys again tonight with the legends in Cleveland. #badnerves #badnervesband #punk #concertphotography #concertphotographer taken in The Funhouse at Mr. Smalls by @superfuzz.frontrow

@pilofficial brought the post-punk sneer to Pittsburgh tonight, with @johnlydonofficial still as ornery, confrontational, and unapologetic as ever. There was a great deal of snot shot as well. #PublicImageLimited #johnlydon #johnnyrotten #concertphotography #concertphotographer @roxiantheatre @ taken in Roxian Theatre by @superfuzz.frontrow

Pittsburgh answered the call of the @mastodonrocks last night and while the sound was a little different, it was still the same animal. Seeing them for the first time without Brent, speaking as a major Hinds fanboy, was difficult. It was so strange to stand over at stage right and it not be him. In no way am I saying anything negative about the band or @nickjohnstonmusic, they absolutely destroyed, but it will take a few trips around the sun to get used to this. Having @aperfectmonster provide Brent’s vocals was literally the exact person I would have wanted to do the honor. Incredibly well done by the band and John. Maybe that guy should stick around…just sayin! Marrow Deep songs were fantastic live. Despite the past couple years being difficult, there is still a lot of life left in Da Don. #mastodon #mastodonrocks #mastodonband #concertphotographer #concertphotography @stageae taken in Stage AE by @superfuzz.frontrow

Hey, that wasn’t bad for New Jersey! One of the most anticipated album releases and support tour of this year for me was @thebrianfallon and finally we are here. Getting a new album and show within days of each other is always the ideal scenario. A great selection throughout the show from Brian’s solo albums but honestly I’d love it if it was just the new album front to back. It’s that good. Live debut of “Fading on Me” was an obvious highlight. All those Kurt guitars sound not bad with NJ! #brianfallon #brianfallonandthepainkillers #thegaslightanthem #concertphotography #concertphotographer @mrsmallstheatre @opusoneprod taken in Mr. Smalls Theatre by @superfuzz.frontrow

@turnstileluvconnection is just a crazy show man. You know it’s gonna be exactly that and it’s still better than expected. Doubling their crowd size from the indoors show @stageae from four years ago, they continue to gain steam. Wild Wrld indeed to see a hardcore band grow to this size but much deserved. Full recap on the link in bio. #turnstile #turnstileband #turnstileloveconnection #concertphotography #concertphotographer taken in Stage AE by @superfuzz.frontrow
