Just a little update on former 14x IWGP Champ and only man in NJPW history to hold 3 belts simultaneously EVIL aka Naraku. Losing clean to Otis’ crowd participation move on Main Event. The streak continues of poorly booked Japanese acts on the main roster. Argue with ya mama, not me. The eye test hasn’t failed me yet 😎 And no I don’t wanna hear what about Asuka and Iyo Sky and my answer is yall must not be familiar with Kana and Io Shirai 🤷🏾‍♂️

For you lazy fans who refuse to do research or step outside the “universe”… Here’s an analogy…

Imagine if Cody now goes to NJPW and they use him like Barry Horowitz or the Brooklyn Brawler. Yall would say “hey he deserves better than that”, right?

Bottomline, if the Japanese wrestlers are happy, then I’m happy. Everybody getting paid right? Hey at least they don’t have the Japanese wrestlers committing hella felonies on tv instead of wrestling right? 🤣

My favorite PAC moment was built on his unhappiness and unwillingness to just settle for a check and happy to be there cause they were the “biggest” and/or only show in town. His unhappiness lead to debuting as a Day 1 AEW original and beating Omega and Hangman Page in his first two matches. When he confronted Hangman at the inaugural AEW rally, he had his @dragongate_pro wrestling championship. As a lifelong wrestling fan, it peaked my interest to see a champ from another company debut in a new company with the former’s championship. That was a sign that a real wrestling company was back in the spotlight. That real partnerships and super shows were back and on the way. We no longer had a monopoly and being forced fed to deal with.

I was happy to see Neville disappear and PAC re-emerged and off the leash and not following a script. Long live the innovator and overall good guy Ben “PAC” Satterly 🙏🏾🙌🏾

One of my favorite feuds from my childhood was undoubtably CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy. I was a Hardy fan through and through, even following him to TNA when he lost his final match to Punk on SmackDown. In his absence in WWE, I became a huge CM Punk fan. Both of these guys heavily influenced me when I was younger.

With both of them getting closer to the end of their careers, this is one match I’d PAY GOOD MONEY to see happen. You can quote me on that. So much history between these two. So many things have happened since 2008/09. I’d love to see them cross paths again and finally bury the hatchet 🫡

Who would you have winning this match up and why?? Lemme know your thoughts!
