Great weekend of racing at the JHB Omnium Champs last weekend. I struggled a bit after being of the bike for a while.
Nice to ride in the SA Champs Jersey, thanks to Roberto. by @supermario_sprinter

South African Track Omnium National Championships done, at last got the Omnium National Jersey in the event.
Lots of hard work after lay-of due to illness and being a mark man, also arrived back home with battle scares after trying to avoid some crashes, ending up with tyre burn on my leg.
Ending up with most points after winning first 3 events, Scratch, Tempo & Elimination and ending up with 2nd in Points after being mark and had to pace 90% of the race and in the proses helping Jaco to secure 2nd overall.
Great racing with Norman Lester back in action again on his favorite place, the Velodrome 👍🚴‍♂️ by @supermario_sprinter

Feeling grateful 🙏 to be back on the bicycle again after 3 months off the bicycle due to illness from Cape Epic stress in March and competing at the South African National Track Championships 1st week in April.
This topped up with personal issues and work related stress leading to high blood pressure problems.
1st proper ride on trainer and had to slow down last 15min to not going over goal for training schedule.
Cadence still tops to keep legs good and not blowing the heart rate tru the roof. by @supermario_sprinter
