This was a very special Le Black Sofa. 🖤

After a decade, @mongrelsincommon designers Christine Pluess and Livia Ximénez-Carrillo took a seat on our sofa to look back at the golden days, spill the tea about the glamour vs reality, and open up about the end of the dream.

They gave it to us as real as it gets: what it actually felt like to experience the rise and fall of mongrels in common.

But they didn’t leave without a surprise: 10 years later, mongrels in common is making a return with an exclusive limited collection of just 100 blouses, powered by SUPERMARQUE. 🖤

This time, we’re turning the tables.

Usually, Christine Pluess is the one asking the questions on Le Black Sofa. On September 25th, she’s taking the other seat.

Together with Livia Ximenez-Carillo, they will revisit a very personal chapter of their career: mongrels in common, the Berlin fashion label built by both.

Their journey with @mongrelsincommon took them to Fashion Week, where they presented their collections on the runway.
We’ll look back at what it meant to build a fashion label in Berlin, the ideas, the chaos, the clothes, and even some secrets.

Perfectly timed with Berlin Art Week, artist and sculptor @wolfgangflad joined us on Le Black Sofa for a conversation about art, creativity and responsibility.

From his approach to upcycling materials to the process behind his sculptures, Wolfgang gave us a glimpse into the ideas that shape his work.

Of course we didn’t forget to ask the questions people don’t usually ask: can you live from your art? What sells more, the crazy pieces or the polished ones?
