BIG OL DUMP from @golden_state_championship round 3 up in redding.

Insane racing all weekend- opening lap battles, dust clouds so bad in the dirt you can’t see the berms, giant cracks in the asphalt at the end of the massive straight making the braking hella sketchy, fighting wheel to wheel with close friends and riders i’ve never met before, and of course wheelies over the finish line all made it one of the best weekends i can remember- and that’s just on track!

shout out Team Sub-Optimal Athletes @hashtagdonttellmax @benfrei101 @mr_moto08 and @revvin__kevin (who is an Optimal Athlete, but we’ll let it slide) for all the support and good vibes, but mostly for the recovery beverages. Also, @vimalsamrat @91octanemotorsports @sean.hicks.73594 @garageaddiction @mattkottwitz71 @themotovangelist @s_mowell190y @supercoopracing @owenware413 and so many other racers- was a blast, can’t wait to ride with you all again in sonoma!

massive thank you to my dad @budadams007 for making the massive trek up north with me and for being my pit crew and designated pre-race fist bump, i really couldn’t do it without you

and i knew it already, but this weekend confirmed how absolutely DIALED my @suspension_matters prepped suspension is, I had so much rear grip and drive onto the main straight it made my life a lot easier this whole weekend. seriously, get your suspension done- it changes the game

and finally, thank you @boathouseinc for giving me the time off work and helping make racing a little more affordable for me (and also sorry for posting this during work hours) by @supermotyler

Start and lap 1 from the second @2wheelstrackdays race yesterday. the new layout @apexmotorsportspark was so technical and so much fun. Had a tough quali, but got some great starts and finished P3 in both races. shoutout @trhicks42 @husky701_la @brenden_sm @left_lanegang @sean.hicks.73594

Easter sunday @apexmotorsportspark in 6 photos:

contrary to what you may think watching that video(all involved are okay btw- pure racing incident), i had amazing weekend at @golden_state_championship!! found about 2.5 seconds of lap time, got way more comfortable in the dirt, and had an absolute blast fighting for P5 in the one race i finished. (p5, DNF, DNS, DNS)

massive shoutout to @hashtagdonttellmax and @benfrei101 for being my carrot to chase all weekend, and to @mr_moto08 @revvin__kevin @monki.moto @geno108_ @ridingwithcarbon and the rest of the @socalsupermoto crew for generally being awesome and so much fun to hang and ride with all weekend. we absolutely had the best pit in the paddock.

@suspension_matters was a big part of my gains this weekend too, the bike turns on a dime, and my drive on corner exit improved so much. it’s insane how well they heard the problems i was having and improved them directly. so cool- everyone should check them out.

over the years @suspension_matters has looked at, tuned, and improved every single motorcycle i’ve owned. So it just feels right to be working with them in my racing as well.

If you haven’t already, take your bike over there right now! supermoto, sportbikes, even scooters they got you covered. from suspension setup to engine maintenance to ECU/dyno tuning they do it all and will get you and your bike set up right!!

Some days everything feels good, you’re going fast, improving lap times- and then your shifter falls off on the outlap of qualifying.

Tried to run and grab it, but the bolt was nowhere to be found- got it sorted by race time and had 2 great races!

@2wheelstrackdays was super fun and great prep for @golden_state_championship in a couple weeks!

On the positive note- my starts last weekend were all solid!

Since accidentally starting in neutral at the last round of @supermoto_championship last season, i made an effort to practice them whenever i was at the track, so was very happy to see that pay off during @golden_state_championship

this about sums up my race weekend- doing a #dankwhoolie over the line while getting passed for position 😂 shoutout Errol

@golden_state_championship was a blast, great vibes in the paddock all weekend. I rode ~okay~ crashed a couple times, was losing steam at the end of the heats, but loved every second and learned a ton.
(mostly that i’m slow and out of shape but that’s besides the point)

looking forward to putting in the work, and coming back with points next round at apex
