Home isn't always a place. Sometimes it's a feeling.

RUTH 66 //

Started with a few reconnaissance loops around Erbenheim Air Base.
No KOM hunting. No race numbers. Just checking the legs, finding a rhythm, collecting miles.

From there, the route drifted through sunburnt hayfields and freshly stacked bales, chasing the horizon toward Theodor-Heuss-Brücke. The kind of roads where a fixed gear feels less like a bike and more like a metronome.

Quick pit stop on Rheinallee.
One sticker added to the city archive.

Then back west, rolling beneath the growing silhouette of the new Schiersteiner Bridge, following the suspended cycling route home while the afternoon heat slowly softened into evening.

66.56 km
242 m elevation
2h 43min moving time

No shortcuts.
No gears.
Just one long line connecting airbase asphalt, riverbanks, wheat fields, concrete, stickers and home.

LONG WAY HOME.
