Mon tout premier livre photo, Espaces et bâtiments, est enfin prêt !

Pour l’occasion, je vous invite à une soirée de lancement le jeudi 22 octobre, au Osmo x Marusan, dès 18h.

Espaces et bâtiments rassemble plus d’une cinquantaine de photographies prises au Japon en 2018, portant un regard sur le paysage architectural et sur la manière dont les bâtiments s’inscrivent dans leur environnement.

My very first photo book, Buildings and Places, is finally ready!

To celebrate, I’m inviting you to a launch party on Thursday, October 22, at Osmo x Marusan, starting at 6 PM.

Buildings and Places brings together more than fifty photographs taken in Japan in 2018, offering a look at the architectural landscape and the way buildings relate to their surroundings.

Neo Archive is a monthly poster series about sharing information and exploring how past archives connect to the present and future. Each edition is a limited newsprint poster, created to share information, inspiration, and fragments of research.

Save As: Archiving as a process

In recent projects and conversations, archiving and work processes have emerged as recurring subjects. This has led us to reflect on our own archiving habits and on how they are embedded in our everyday actions. Through a communal, iterative way of working, we have accumulated over the years a growing archive of ideas, attempts, and experiments with typographic systems and compositions, creating a body of material that continually informs new projects. We could therefore view our practice as a continuous line of inquiry. Even if we see each project as a discrete output, there is always an opportunity to revisit, refine, and build on this material while responding to a specific context.

Issu de la collaboration entre la Fondation Grantham pour l’art et l’environnement et le Conseil régional de l’environnement du Centre-du-Québec, Regards croisés réunit des œuvres de Geneviève Baril, Yen-Chao Lin, Maude Arès et Marjolaine Bourdua. Commissariée par Daniel Fiset et présentée dans le passage Sibosis, l’exposition explore les liens entre le travail de l’art et le travail de protection de l’environnement à travers des processus, des matériaux et des gestes qui témoignent que le changement peut se réfléchir autant dans l’action que dans l’image. L’exposition se prolonge jusqu’au 31 août 2026.

The result of a collaboration between the Grantham Foundation for the Arts and the Environment and the Conseil régional de l’environnement du Centre-du-Québec, Regards croisés brings together works by Geneviève Baril, Yen-Chao Lin, Maude Arès, and Marjolaine Bourdua. Curated by Daniel Fiset and presented in the Sibosis passage, the exhibition explores the relationship between artistic practice and environmental conservation through processes, materials, and gestures reflecting that change can occur in both action and image. The exhibition will run through August 31, 2026.
