3 weeks, 7 countries and so many amazing memories 🌍🌊

🇩🇪 🇦🇹 🇸🇮 🇭🇷 🇷🇸 🇲🇰 🇧🇦

The main goal of this trip was to travel to @lakeohridsupcrossing by @paddleklub and finish the long distance race. I’m super happy that I achieved this goal and that it went much better than last year 💪🌊

I'm also happy with my 6th place in the tech race open final. And finished 3th after a swim in the juniors. 🤙

Big thanks to @uncledamn @paddleklub for the organisation of this amazing event 🙏

Had an amazing time with the Van Bakel family @tijevanbakel @mylo.van.bakel @joepvanbakel . Great memories on and off the water 🙌

The holiday started with the SUP camp in Essen with @susanne_lier_athlete a super fun week where I learned a lot and improved my skills 🌊

We also discovered some beautiful places in Bosnia. Amazing nature, a beautiful lake to paddle on, and a stunning river with waterfalls 🏞️

Now it’s time to focus on the next challenge: @sup11citytour weekend stage 🏁

SUP11CityTour 2026 🏁

My 5th SUP11CityTour, but my first time doing the Weekend Stage!

42 km Franeker - Dokkum
27 km Dokkum - Leeuwarden

The goal was simple: finish both stages and paddle them out — and I did it!
And even better… i was the fastest weekend stage paddler and tour paddler of the weekend!

Best moments:
Bartlehiem was amazing with so much support and of course the famous 11citybridge! 🙌

Thanks for the paddling on sunday @marco_teodosio @ghislaine.cordier @jobmoerings 🚂🚂🚂🚂🙌

Thanks @kjellb21 for preparing me for this weekend!

And thanks to the @sup11citytour for organising this great event! and thanks to everyone supporting me along the route. ❤️

Youth SUP Camp Fuerteventura 2026 🇪🇸🌊
10 days full of training, fun and great experiences. Of course we spent a lot of time on the water, and paddling to Lobos was definitely the highlight of the trip, tough but totally worth it, and I’m proud I made it 💪
We also reached the highest point of Fuerteventura with a 15km hike, big thanks to @kjellb21 for this awesome adventure!

🤩 Special SUPtember! 🤩

Een van onze favoriete maanden van het SUP seizoen, mooie zonsondergangen tijdens de les en natuurlijk de SUP Elfstedentocht. Dit jaar voor ons van alles wat!

Support tijdens de non-stop; Marco & Ghislaine waren supportteam voor Carlo, die een poging deed om de 200km in één keer te peddelen, helaas moest hij na 100km middenin de nacht stoppen.

Een weekje later startte Darin, één van onze leden, en Robin met het weekend van de 5-daagse; 1 dag van 42km en 1 dag van 28km. Het doel; beide dagen uit peddelen. De zaterdag waren wij support aan de kant en de zondag was het tijd om ook het water op te gaan!

De laatste etappe; Darin, Arjen, Robin, Marco & Ghislaine peddelden de laatste 28km van Dokkum naar Leeuwarden, voor allen een bekende route want het was voor niemand de eerste keer.

Het resultaat; Robin won het weekend! Darin haalde beide dagen met een big smile de finish. Arjen peddelde de zondag uit. Marco was de snelste man van de laatste etappe op zondag & Ghislaine de snelste dame op de zondag etappe.

Vooral de laatste etappe is een feestje, zo veel support op alle bruggen, de tegeltjesbrug, in de file achter boten, gezelligheid op het water en na afloop in de Prinsentuin in Leeuwarden een biertje en burger en bijpraten met iedereen!

Ben je er volgend jaar ook bij? Wij helpen je graag met alle voorbereidingen!

Race week 🏁🤙

This weekend I’ll start my fifth SUP11CityTour!

I’ve done the Sunday Stage four times before, but this will be my first Weekend Stage. Really looking forward to it! 💪

Ook @supper_robin gaat meedoen met de @sup11citytour . Zet em op jongen!!

Waar kijk jij naar uit?
Ik vind de sfeer bij de start op zondagochtend in Dokkum altijd heel leuk, maar ik kijk er ook echt wel naar uit om zaterdag te finishen in Dokkum nadat ik al vier keer in Dokkum ben gestart.
En natuurlijk ook om na 2 dagen te finishen in leeuwarden want dat is het doel waar ik voor getraind heb. En dan ben ik natuurlijk heel erg blij dat ik het gehaald heb.

Waar zie je tegenop?
Er zijn meestal heel veel waterplanten op de route tussen Franeker en Dokkum, dit jaar is het heel warm geweest dus ik denk dat we heel veel last van waterplanten gaan krijgen. Dat wordt een uitdaging.

Wie wil jij bij voorbaat bedanken?
Vooral mijn ouders, zij helpen mij met heel veel, denk aan de voorbereiding, samen trainen, dingen regelen. Ook wil ik @kjellb21 bedanken voor alle trainingen om mij goed voor te bereiden. Ik ben er dankzij zijn trainingsplan echt klaar voor. by @supper_robin

Lago di alpi erfurt 🇩🇪

🏁 sprint: 5th (u16)
🤙 technical: 7th (u16)
💪 long distance: 6th (u16 - 4km)
🔥 long distance: 6th (u18 - 12km)

I'm especially happy with my 12km long distance race, with a lot of wind. It's my favourite discipline and i'm happy with my progress. Sprint and technical are still disciplines i keep working on. But happy about my 5th place in the sprint.

Had an amazing time with friends.
Always great to race and have fun together @tijevanbakel @mylo.van.bakel @marin.h3 👊

Next week the trip towards the @lakeohridsupcrossing in North Macedonia 🇲🇰 starts, can't wait! 🤙

Rondje Haarlem 🏁🌊
This weekend it was time for Rondje Haarlem of 19.8km.

Had a great race with a good start, found some nice drafts along the way, and finished 7th overall
Super happy to take 1st place in U18 🥇

Also had a great time paddling together with @tijevanbakel and finishing with a strong sprint to the line 👊🔥

A good training race for the @lakeohridsupcrossing this summer (23 km) 🇲🇰

Dutch Championships 🇳🇱🏁

This weekend it was time for the Dutch Championships. Some good results, some disappointing ones. but a lot of learning again and great racing 🤙

First up: technical race 🔥
I raced in U18, had some good heats and finished 3rd in U18 🥉
Really happy with that!

Sprint (with water start & turn):
I raced both U18 and elite, mainly for fun. Finished 4th in U18 — sprint still isn’t really my strongest point.

In elite I ended up in the semi-final with Max Wim and Michel. Had a great start and came out of the turn in 2nd place. Finished just behind Wim and ahead of Michel in 3rd. Super happy with that 💪
Never thought a sprint final with the men could maybe be possible, that would’ve been something 👀😅

Long distance… well, let’s not really call it a long distance 😅
8 km total over 2 laps with a beach start, 4 turns per lap, beach run and beach finish. More like a technical short distance race in my opinion.

I had a tough battle with @tijevanbakel and @mylo.van.bakel , Ended up 4th. Honestly disappointed with the result, but I’ll come back stronger 👊
