Happy National Esthetician’s Day! 22 years ago, I decided to leave the San Francisco interiors scene and try something completely different. I was craving something more quiet and meaningful. Something less material that garnered a deep connection with others. I knew I wanted to use my hands — to find and develop my energy and get lost in my flow. The idea of Supple Apothecary came to me organically and at the most opportune time. I was swept away by the evolving natural skincare movement that began in Europe and was just starting to catch on in the US. It took a tremendous amount of confidence and work to become licensed and open up shop — first in California, then on Cape Cod, and I’ve never looked back!
