SUPPS (short for “supplements”) is a term widely recognized in the health & fitness community. These products—protein shakes, amino acids, creatine—have shaped the lives of millions, including my own since I first picked up weights at age 12.
Back in 2017, I realized there wasn’t a single professionally produced documentary about this booming industry—no stories of it’s origins, it’s innovators, or how it became a global phenomenon. That’s when I knew I had to tell the story myself.
With decades of experience as a fitness photographer, commercial director, and lifelong bodybuilding enthusiast, I poured my passion into SUPPS: The Movie. It was a labor of love, produced through Ardenti Films to maintain creative control and historical accuracy.
SUPPS: The Movie uncovers the fascinating journey of the industry that fuels strength, performance, and dreams. #supplements #sportssupplements #preworkouts #wheyprotein #fatburners #gainmuscle #loosweight #filmmaking #documentary #supps #suppsmovie #alexardenti #ardentifilms taken in Los Angeles, California by @suppsmovie
