I still feel a little bit silly making and posting this videos, but here goes nothing! Today was day three of the 250,000 pound curl challenge, knocked out 175 reps with the 30 pound dumbbells for hammer curls, taking the total number of curls for the month up to 500 curls in three days. 175 regular curls, 150 regular curls, and then 175 hammer curls. Still a long way left to go through the month, but making some great progress so far! Tag along if you’d like 🫡

19,500/250,000lbs with 325 curls completed per arm. Using the 30- pound dumbbells and ripping a whole lot of curls, I have done 19,500 pounds as of today, November 2, and we only have 230,500 more pounds to go 😅 by @suprarossruns

Whoops…. My bad, my math was off. That’s a lot of curls. Here goes day 1. November 1st - 175 curls each arm with 30lbs dumbbells!.

Today’s push-up challenge: 50 push-ups. However you can get them done, whether that’s one set or ten. 💪

Managed to knock out all 50 in one set for the video. Figured I’d get that part done before my arms had time to file a complaint. 😂

My personal goal for the day is 500 total push-ups, however many sets that takes.

Nothing fancy, just putting in the reps and documenting the process. At this rate, my camera roll is going to be 90% push-ups and questionable camera angles. 🤙

Today’s experiment: the Bring Sally Up push-up challenge. 💪

Brought out the pink Supra T-shirt for this one, so clearly I was taking things seriously. 😂

Made it to almost 20 push-ups before Sally and I started having some creative differences.

Yesterday was old-school gym class. Today I’m letting a song dictate my workout decisions. Not sure who’s in charge of this training program anymore.

Still showing up, still posting, and slowly getting better at both. 🤙

Went back to the old-school gym class push-up test to see where I stand these days.

36 push-ups. Not sure what that gets me in compared to doing these in school, but I feel like somebody should be writing it down on a clipboard. 😂

Still figuring out this whole posting workout videos thing, so bear with me. The production quality and the push-up count are both works in progress. 💪

I used to do a crazy amount of push-ups to help build my bench press, and it worked pretty well. Now I’m seeing if I can get those same results with curls. 💪😂

Also, I don’t usually post workout content, but I’m trying to change that. The videos might be a little rough at first, but hopefully the content gets better as I get better.

Gotta start somewhere! 💯

For my workout this weekend, I was in Tampa for the Steelers and Buccaneers game, so we went to Busch Gardens on Saturday and walked almost 25,000 steps, and then on Sunday spent the day screaming at the Steelers! Roughly about another 12,000 steps that day, I guess you could call these recovery days. And the Steelers took a W, so it works out. Back on the grind today, go #steelers by @suprarossruns

How did an entire generation raised on this song completely miss the plot?

We grew up screaming every word about having one shot and one opportunity to seize everything we ever wanted.

And somehow, so many of us missed the message.

We take our health for granted. We eat whatever we want without thinking twice about the consequences. We neglect our bodies, put off taking care of ourselves, and convince ourselves we’ll get serious about it tomorrow.

Hell, how many of us can even do 50 push-ups right now? Forget 50. I’d bet there are a whole lot more people who can’t even knock out 25 than those who can.

We knew we had one shot. We sang it at the top of our lungs. We felt every word.

But somewhere between growing up, paying bills, raising families, and just trying to survive, we stopped showing up for ourselves.

And maybe the saddest part isn’t that we let Eminem down.

It’s that we let ourselves down.

But here’s the thing…

We’re still here. Which means we still have an opportunity to change the ending.

So maybe it’s time we give this song another listen.
But this time, let’s stop singing the words and start living like we actually believe them.

Not quite where I wanna be just yet, but if you would have told me 3 months ago I’d be capable of benching 265lbs I’d have laughed you out of the room. Sometimes you just gotta find the right motivation to remember who you are!
