Audio reactive breakdown of one of the point cloud animations I designed/created for @buntmusic x @bausashaus “Schlaf” (dir. by @louis.km ) This time, I wanted to try out a more experimental approach instead of a classical 3D/VFX breakdown. I split my scene into 20 isolated render layers/object groups and rendered solid view playblasts, clay, raw and final comp renders for each of those groups, resulting in 100 layers in total. I then automated over 200 gate and merge nodes in Fusion to react to an audio file that I’ve split into 20 corresponding frequency bands, meaning each frequency band triggers and activates a previously assigned object group, if a certain threshold is reached. It’s been nearly a year and I still haven’t posted the main mv/visualizer i made for our @converse x @snipes campaign /w @_lugatti_ & @9inebro. Audio-reactive breakdown visualizer of another point cloud animation I made originally for the music video @buntmusic x @bausashaus “Schlaf” Rather than a classical 3D/VFX breakdown, it’s the same “experimental” approach as last time: I split my scene into 10 isolated render layers/object groups and rendered solid-view playblasts, clay, raw and final comp renders + a viewport selection overlay for each of those groups, resulting in 50 layers in total. But this time, all 10 corresponding frequency band reactions were calculated and composited directly in Blender itself (rather than in Fusion, as in my previous experiment). -Let me know what you think! Also a big shoutout to @larua___ for letting me use his music for this visualizer again!! by @sur.render
