Strange feeling, walking into a room with empty shelves. But empty shelves are just an invitation, and this one filled up fast — some old favourites, a lot of new arrivals, and an entire wing now quietly taken over by Gotham.

Turns out starting over doesn't have to mean starting empty. It just means deciding what earns a place on the new shelf. And apparently, the answer was: a Witcher saga, a stack of thrillers, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj keeping watch — and Batman, who never really asks for permission anyway. by @sur_krishnan

Pyaasa (1957)

A story about a man trying to find expression and recognition in a world that cannot distinguish artistic worth from fame and fortune.

Not only fair weather friends, he has a fair weather old flame, and fair weather brothers.
A movie full of gut wrenching, face melting "nagme" and "ghazals" makes one realize that poetry can be so soul stirring and thought provoking that it force you to pause and reflect on what truly matters.

In this fast paced, distraction filled, extremely cynical and criticising society, will the lines of Pyaasa be able to make a difference?

Or have we reached a point where

"ye duniya agar mil bhi jaaye toh kya hai"

feels more relevant than ever.

Rann Utsav checked many boxes - sunrise and sunset, feast for the stomach, folk music, camel rides, watching the stars, vibrant culture and non stop laughter.

The universe has been here for billions of years. I maybe here for a few decades. And we met anyway...
Nothing up there knows my name, my problems, my failures. So indifferent to my existence. I feel completely insignificant and somehow still a part of this!
