When I travel, these are my essentials:

• A good book
• A sketchbook
• Oil pastels
• Acrylic paint markers
• A pencil
• An eraser
• A sharpener
• My water bottle

Every day, I make time for them.

I read a chapter. Write a short poem, a quote, or a note. I sketch. I draw. I paint. Sometimes with intention, sometimes just following the colours.

This simple ritual brings me peace, joy, and a deep sense of being present. It reconnects me with myself.

I feel so rich.

For me, one of life's greatest gifts is waking up in the morning in a good mood, seeing beauty, and feeling joy. Art helps me do exactly that. It allows me to feel, to notice, to experience the present moment.

For the past few days I've been exploring one simple line... over and over again.

These flowing lines have become angels, cherubim, stained-glass windows, abstract forms, movement, and quiet moments. Then come the colours, bringing each page to life in a different way.

There is no plan. No pressure to create a masterpiece. Just curiosity, play, and showing up every day.

Art keeps reminding me that sometimes one line is all you need to begin.
