Here’s the thing I wish I knew before going to Fushimi Inari ⛩️
The famous gates at the entrance are only a small part of the experience. As you walk higher, the crowds start thinning out, the atmosphere gets quieter, and you get to see a completely different side of Fushimi Inari.

📌 My tip: If you want the iconic pictures, go early. The entrance area gets busy very quickly. And don’t feel like you HAVE to reach the very top unless you’re up for a proper hike — you can enjoy plenty of the shrine without doing the entire climb.
Also… wear comfortable shoes.
Because those pretty torii gates have absolutely no sympathy for your feet. 😂👟

How many Torii gates are enough? Apparently Japan doesn’t know 😳😳Stayed here longer coz we couldn’t find the exit 😹😹 .
Kyoto is beautiful and fushimi Inari is a must visit there 👌🏻👌🏻
The fan sewn on my tee had a very significant role to play .It was supposed to be a cute T-shirt…
but Japan said girl - you’re gonna need that fan.” 🥵😂
So yes, I removed the fan from my tee and actually used it.
