Today, we’re celebrating our incredible Secretary, Melissa Lambert, who has stepped into her role with grace, confidence and a true commitment to our chapter. 🙌

Melissa’s attention to detail, exceptional organization, willingness to lend a helping hand and outgoing personality have made her an invaluable part of the Jersey Shore Surfrider team. Her dedication helps keep our chapter moving forward, and her positive energy makes being part of this community even better. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Clean water shouldn't be a guessing game. 🌊

Every time you head to the beach, you deserve to know the water is safe for you and your family. The BEACH Act helps fund water quality testing and public notifications at more than 3,500 beaches across the country, but it needs to be reauthorized to continue protecting public health and improve beach monitoring programs.

Now is the time to make your voice heard.

Mahalo to everyone who made our first Art for the Ocean show an incredible success! 🌊🎨

Because of the generosity of our artists, volunteers, sponsors and supporters, we've raised more than $5,500 (and counting!) to help protect our oceans, waves and beaches. 🙌

A huge thank you to every artist who donated their work, our amazing volunteers, the team at @thegallery619_ssh DJ Joey Black & JoJo, Kim Maniscalco for the awesome face painting, @seaglasswineco for the wine and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. ☺️

Special thanks to our event leaders Don Greenberg, Matt Hartman and Dana Brereton, whose hard work brought this vision to life and to David Bogart, whose generosity and inspiration sparked the entire event.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
