Van Gordon Martin joined us on Surfside LIVE!
We got into his life in music, the different bands and projects he’s been a part of, the people and experiences that shaped him along the way, and what keeps him inspired after all these years.

And somewhere in there we discovered a shared appreciation for old cars—which sent us down another rabbit hole entirely.

A really cool conversation with a guy we’ve been lucky enough to have play at Surfside many times over the years.

We started talking aliens… and somehow OJ Simpson entered the chat. 👽🔪😂

@hitchmasterflex takes us down one rabbit hole after another in what might be the funniest Surfside LIVE episode we’ve ever done.

Music, conspiracy theories, OJ, aliens and absolutely no idea where the conversation is going next.

NEW SURFSIDE LIVE! 👽🎸 @hitchmasterflex

We invited Brian “Hitch” Hitchings on to talk about his wild career in music—from tiny bars to some seriously big stages.

And then… we went FULL ALIEN. 👽😂

Music, UFOs, conspiracy theories, chicken tenders, pizza and one of the funniest conversations we’ve ever had on the podcast.

Hitch is an incredibly talented musician and an even better storyteller. This one went completely off the rails in the best possible way.

Such a pleasure getting to know @emilybrimlow on the @surfsidelive podcast! She’s an incredible talent, an absolute blast to chat with, and apparently her dad loves aliens even more than I do. 👽🛸

And her live performance? Out of this world! 🚀

Do yourself a favor and check out Emily Brimlow wherever you listen to music. 🎶 taken in Surfside Burger Bar by @surfsidelive
