💡 Quick Tip für Windsurfer 🤙

Kennst du dieses Trick? Lass es uns wissen! ⬇️👇

Tape die Verbindung deines Masts direkt beim Aufbau ab! 🤝

Warum das so wichtig ist? Ganz einfach: Beim Aufriggen oder spätestens im Wasser können Sand 🏖️ und Wasser 💧 in die Steckverbindung zwischen den Mastteilen gelangen.

⚠️ Das Problem daran - wenn sich dort einmal Sand festsetzt oder Wasser reindrückt, wirkt das Ganze wie „verklebt“.

👉 Ergebnis: Du bekommst den Mast nach der Session nur noch mit viel Kraft, Geduld (und manchmal gar nicht mehr 😅) auseinander.

Mit einem einfachen Trick kannst du dir das komplett sparen:
Nimm ein Stück Tape und wickle es sauber um die Verbindungsstelle, nachdem du den Mast zusammengesteckt hast. So bleibt alles dicht und geschützt.

✨ Deine Vorteile:
✔️ Kein Sand in der Verbindung
✔️ Kein Feststecken der Mastteile
✔️ Schneller Abbau nach der Session
✔️ Weniger Stress am Spot

My UHA870 is nearly replacing my Lightwind Foil HA1180…more Glide, less Drag and with bigger Stabilizer like Speed180 or Glide220 it has very good Low End. Just try the UHA with bigger Stabs to gain Low End! After a few weeks testing the new @armstrongfoils Midlength MkII, here’s my short comparison to the MkI.

I use the ML100 as my lightwind board on freshwater lakes, mainly with a max. 6.0 Wing from 7–12 knots and HA1180 or smaller. I’m around 80–82 kg.

I was very happy with the MkI, so I wasn’t sure the MkII would offer much improvement. But after riding it, I wonder if I could go one size smaller. The MkII feels more solid on the water, is easier to balance and even gets going slightly earlier.

It’s also around 1 kg lighter thanks to the new molding technology, while still being incredibly stiff. The new shape requires the foil position to be moved about 1–2 cm further back due to the different scoop/rocker line.

For the ML, I prefer UHA/HA foils. MA works too, but for more freestyle/jumping I’d choose a dedicated Freestyle or Freeride board.

It takes a little time to get used to the new shape, but the improvements are noticeable very quickly. Still loving the MkI, but the MkII definitely surprised me. 🤙 Thanks for the support @surftools #foil #wingfoiling #wingfoilgermany #armstrongfoils #midlength by @surftools

Still tricky but getting better over the time and knee is getting also more stable. Can’t wait getting to 500+ Meters 😜💪 I really like the Naish Micro Chip 80, Super Light, stiff and direct feeling but a bit challenging in the beginning.
