++ International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia ++ Join us for a panel discussion on the global struggle against Transphobia, Biphobia and Homophobia. We are delighted to invite Hina Baloch, Khwajasira organiser of the Sindh Moorat March, the first trans pride in Pakistan. She will speak of her experience in the British asylum system and her organising back in Pakistan.MANTIS (Mutual Aid Network for Trans People in South Asia) are a collective who will speak about the recent anti-trans bill in India and its global effects. Birmingham Queers 4 Palestine will speak on the LGBTI+ struggle locally and their efforts in organising alternative pride. A very brilliantly executed project, Aik Aur Pakeezah.It is not conventionally aesthetic but it makes you sit with your emotions which is quite uncomfortable at times but also oddly satisfying, the raw and well thought out politics of feminist care exhibited and shared by the women written by Bee Gul is absolutely amazing with mind blowing performance and delivery of all the actresses, imho there’s no main female lead but a girl gang beautifully imagined by Bee Gul.#AikAurPakeezah #BeeGul #PakistaniDramas #feminism#urdu by @surkhina
