My film project @surrender_film has had its first kickoff with screen tests and dream sequences filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada. It has been a project that was started over five years ago with some sketches, dreams, visions and disciplined effort. @townbuilding_man was a great partner and reacted to my rough sketches and created beautiful storyboards that brought my characters and story to life. @tompatrickillustration and @nathaniel_underwoodart also collaborated on storyboards. I tightened up the script during the Covid years and also once again when I nearly lost my vision in my left eye from shingles and acquire postherpetic neuralgia on my forehead, temple and left eye area. The shingles reaction was due to the physical and mental stress of caring for and then losing my mother. The daily pain still persists and has added adventures in depression, body dysmorphia and pain management but also aided in my relentless pursuit to craft my vision and passion into this film. I want to thank all of my friends and family who have shown me love and support. Special thanks to @christopherdkay for creating these beautiful images and collaborating on this journey. And to the haters and doubters I continue to digest the negativity as fuel for my vision. Special thanks to @emilyhughessmith @david_s_hughes @christopherdkay @grey_everett_smith @miaisobel @evi_smith @dwbfolio @wm.zink @eccentric_emma_cat @purplegiu @triceratops_tt @garysindahouse @actor_tobiasarmand_films @daniel_charles_desverges @skyelavie @motelfetish @wm.zink @trapeze_goth @karljustinsmith @wayne47765 @cecileday1 @carlamontague @arlitasexy taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @surrender_film
