This verse has been one I’ve clung to. It’s so simple, yet so profound.

After I miscarried, I immediately went into research mode. Even though my doctor assured me there was nothing I could have done to prevent losing our baby, my mind couldn’t accept that.

Social media, Google, and Reddit became both my distraction and my source of answers. I searched for the right supplement, tea, cream—anything that might help me get pregnant again. My feeds became filled with miscarriage, infertility, and baby loss. I spent hours down rabbit holes that left me feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and desperate for certainty.

I tracked every symptom, took countless LH tests, monitored my basal body temperature, and logged everything. I was trying so hard to control an outcome that was never mine to control. I convinced myself that getting pregnant again might somehow lessen the pain. But despite doing everything “right,” nothing was happening.

From January to May, I lived in that cycle of striving.

In May, I joined a prayer group, and we committed to a 40-day prayer challenge. I joined because I felt hopeless, consumed, and exhausted by fear and endless “what ifs.” During those 40 days, the Lord showed me something I hadn’t fully realized: while I kept saying, “I trust You,” I wasn’t truly surrendering my future pregnancy or future child to Him. My words and my actions didn’t align.

By the end of the challenge, I decided to let go of all the obsessive tracking because it was creating more stress than peace. It wasn’t an overnight transformation. I didn’t wake up on day 41 and quit everything completely. It took several more weeks to slowly release my grip and surrender my need for control.

Hi everyone! 🤍

My name is Dana, and I created this page with the hope of bringing together women who are walking through a season of waiting.

A little about my why…

On December 4, 2025, my husband and I went to our appointment to see our first baby. We were overwhelmed with excitement after praying for the Lord to bless us with a child. It felt like our dreams were finally coming true.

Instead, we were told our baby had no heartbeat and that I was experiencing a missed miscarriage.

Our precious daughter, Selah, had gone to be with Jesus.

When we felt ready, we started trying to conceive again. But no one prepares you for the heaviness of grieving the life you imagined while still hoping and praying for your miracle baby.

I’ve survived…
• The baby shower that never happened.
• The bump that never grew.
• The kicks I never got to feel.
• The nursery that never got decorated.
• The due date that came and went with no baby.

I say “survived” because that’s exactly what it has felt like.

This season has been one of daily surrender. It has stretched my faith, exposed my fears, and drawn me closer to the Lord in ways I never expected.

I created this space because I’m still waiting.

I haven’t reached the chapter where I’m pregnant again, hearing my baby’s heartbeat, or holding my miracle in my arms.

I long and pray for that every single day. But after loss and disappointment, hope can sometimes feel difficult to hold onto.

That’s why this page exists.

I don’t know exactly what this community will become, but I do know this: I am not the only woman walking through a season of waiting.

Our stories may look different, but we all know the ache of longing for something our hearts deeply desire.

If that’s you, I want you to know you’re not alone.
