We are the professional firefighters proudly serving the City of Surrey.

Every day, our members respond to fires, medical emergencies, and rescue calls — protecting lives, property, and one of the fastest-growing communities in the province.

Through the Surrey Fire Fighters Association, our members are represented and supported, with a strong focus on advocacy, professionalism, and advancing public safety for the people we serve.

But when the tones stop and the shift ends, the work continues.

Through the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society (SFFCS), established in 1994, our members give back to the community off duty — volunteering their time, leading initiatives, organizing events, and raising funds to support individuals, families, and organizations across Surrey.

From grassroots programs to major community partnerships, the SFFCS allows our members to make a meaningful impact beyond emergency response — supporting those who need it most and strengthening the community we’re proud to serve.

A HUGE congratulations to all the teams who competed in The 11 annual Break the Ice tournament with a special shoutout to our division champions: Richmond Fire for taking home the win in the A Division, and Township of Langley Fire for claiming victory in the Rec Division! 🏆

A massive thank you to our incredible food sponsor, Sammy J’s, as well as every player, volunteer, and supporter for making this year’s tournament a massive success. Your energy and support are raising crucial funds and awareness about mental health challenges in the first responder community. Every conversation and every goal helps break the stigma.

A great evening at the Surrey Showdown last weekend!

Our Surrey Eagles players had the opportunity to spend time with attendees, interact with families and test out some shooting skills at our outdoor hockey station.

The event raised over $26,000 in support of youth initiatives across Surrey!

We’re proud to continue building our relationship with our community heroes at Surrey Police Service and Surrey Fire Service, and look forward to welcoming both organizations to South Surrey Arena for our First Responders Night later this season!

The Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society has a strong focus on supporting youth in our community, particularly those facing barriers and challenging circumstances.

We are proud to have made another $5,000 donation to Mackie’s Place, supporting the incredible work being done to provide vulnerable youth with a safe, welcoming environment where they can build relationships, develop life skills and find opportunities for a brighter future.

Through nutritious meals, mentorship and hands-on employment training, Mackie’s Place is helping young people build confidence, develop valuable skills and reach their full potential.

We are grateful for the dedicated staff and volunteers who continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Surrey youth.
