What an incredible weekend at the 2nd annual @kinetic.comps competing against the best sniper teams in the country. The match flow and the course of fire were world class. After the hard days tackling the mountain we were treated with fantastic dinners and social events, seeing familiar faces, and making new friends. This events emphasis on community is second to none.
My good friend @jessepotter189 and I were able to finish 18th overall, despite some catastrophic gear issues.

Huge shoutout to our friends and sponsors at @osokapparel and @jorgepastorefoundation your support means the world to us.
Thank you to all the great companies that made this event happen. @dragonflyhaley @haleystrategicofficial in particular thank you for the generosity on the prize table. I didn’t hesitate to snag a full suite of your latest and greatest sniper kit from the prize table.
The @dmrresort once again was an incredible experience and great people. Thank you
The great companies that create our equipment also deserve gratitude

Thanks to the crew @bauerprecision for letting us get our hands on this FRT Vector. We had to show how truly “full auto” rated the Strake 9 really is.

Same rifle. Same ammo. Three muzzle configs. One variable.

10-shot string on a SOLGW MK1 with an @asdesignsfrts ARC-Fire, filmed at 119.88 fps and timed first shot to tenth.

Cyclic rate is the tell: the more gas a can pushes back into the system, the faster the gun runs.

Bare muzzle: 566 RPM
Popular 5.56 K can: 802 RPM
LayerX Raster 5K: 779 RPM

That middle number belongs to one of the most talked about 5.56 K cans on the market right now, and one that gets sold specifically on "Very Low" back pressure.

The Raster 5K ran right with it and came in a touch lower.
Every suppressor adds back pressure. What matters is how much, and the Raster 5K is playing in the same class as the names everybody is already running.

More testing on the way.
For the Shooter. by @surusoperations
