We were quite proud of our challenge design this year, especially our custom spinning wheels and ball-balancing sword handles built by our in-house carpenter king, @kalebean97. Our slide puzzle and ball maze were designed and printed by @zaidleppelin and our logic puzzle was made by @puzzleswithned. Also all of the eating challenge materials were secured by @bbizzy_makes_art! It takes a village and we are so honored to have so many talented alumni and friends in the LRG community who were happy to lend their time and skills to making Season 5 possible ❤️🙂‍↕️ Fill out the interest form linked in our bio to find out when applications open for Season 6! #survivor #survivorLRG #bushwick taken in Bushwick by @survivorbushwick

Season 5 of Survivor Bushwick raised $13,694 for @safepassageproject— and that was before a single one of our players stepped foot in Highland Park this past Sunday. What began at 7:30am that morning as a silly gathering of strangers to play some park Survivor turned into a very real, very fun, and very serious day of alliances, blindsides, and social maneuvering. After original green dominated the first half of the game, a sudden power flip at the final 12 kicked off a series of big moves, sending threats on both sides home left and right, until our final three of Diana, Khadija, and Kelly plead their cases to the jury. Congratulations to Kelly for taking home the crown, and to all of our players and production crew for being part of another excellent season of Survivor Bushwick. It’s an honor and a privilege for us to get to put on our favorite game and raise money for local organizations making a difference in our city. If you haven’t already, please follow the link in our bio to donate to Safe Passage Project and support their work protecting NYC youth from deportation. See you for Season 6! 🙂‍↕️❤️ All photos by @theoyourecool taken in Highland Park, Brooklyn by @survivorbushwick
