POSTS STORIES REELS

Saturday in the studio, I was able to build out these big earrings!

I love when I have a whole day to immerse myself and get deep into my work. by @susanlenart

I’ve always been drawn to big, bold pieces. The kind that don’t feel normal and aren’t meant to. It’s a take-it-or-leave-it kind of work, and I’ve fully chosen to take it.

If you love my work, this is exactly what I teach.

November 18–22, I’m hosting my final workshop of the year in my studio. It’s a small group, and we focus on building strong, expressive jewelry that actually feels like you. We’ll create talismans using wire and metal, and I’ll guide you through how to trust your eye and make pieces that stand out.

This is not about perfect technique. It’s about learning how to see differently and build with intention.

I hear it all the time, people find this workshop at the exact right moment.

Maybe this is yours!

THE LONG BIND

13-Foot Hand-Stitched Leather Body Wrap
Ancient Mastodon Fossil + Moroccan Coin Charms + Crystal Quartz + Sterling Silver
13’ Total Length | One of a Kind

Thirteen feet of leather, stone, fossil, silver and story.

The Long Bind was created to move across the body rather than exist in one prescribed place. Wrap it around the neck. Cross it over the torso. Tie it at the waist. Wind it around the thigh or leg. Layer it until it becomes entirely your own.

The hand-stitched leather carries ancient Moroccan charms traditionally created by melting down European coins, alongside mastodon bone, fossils, crystal quartz, hand-inscribed sticks, sterling silver and small pieces of bronze.

Threads are bound into the piece around the act of manifesting and protecting what you are moving toward.

What I love most is that the wearer finishes this piece.

Every wrapping changes its form. Every body gives it another shape.

It can be abundant and layered one day, stripped back and simple the next.

A wearable protector. A body piece. A one-of-a-kind work of art. by @susanlenart

I ’ve been carrying the idea of this headdress for some time, letting it gather shape as my work moves beyond familiar jewelry placements and into a deeper expression in the landscape of the body.
Using a hint of ancient crowns and ceremonial head ornaments, this piece rises through sculptural metal and luminous stone. For me, this is where adornment becomes an extension of the self: instinctive, powerful, and alive. A way of bringing what we carry inside into visible form.
The jeweled ear cuffs anchor the piece comfortably, allowing it to move with the wearer through movement and dance. This structure also opens up new possibilities for larger, more elaborate earrings, supporting the weight so I can build with greater freedom.
There is more to come, more to explore in the way metal and stone can inhabit the body. But I am excited about this beginning! by @susanlenart

A little silver, a few gemstones, and layers of things that move with the body.

I have always loved stacking jewelry, mixing textures, and letting pieces find their own place together. Nothing needs to match perfectly. In fact, I prefer when it doesn’t.

Look closely and you’ll spot a piece (or a few!) in every photo. We love seeing our jewelry come to life through artists who bring so much individuality and expression to everything they do.
