Arleen, my friend passed way last week. She brought me to NYC, offering her couch and then her loft while she was off to Texas with Ray before building out my loft. I will forever be in her debt for setting me on my way, and will miss her unapologetic adventurous soul, her laugh and chocolate cake remedy. I’m Grateful for the time I had with her. @stuart.ginsberg @claire_eleanor_fergusson #wednesdaysatas #arleenschloss #performanceart #moma #soho by @susannichter

This is a clip of 1 of 5 consecutive images. The Time Will Tell cube rolls through MVY, Orquevaux, Grand Teton, Montecito and Tanah Lot Bali before rolling out into your location in AR. More postings to come. Many thanks to Ashley Hamel, RA. This was not made with AI. by @susannichter

2nd Cyanotype This Land Series #grandTeton #nusalembongan by @susannichter

First cyanotype, “Split in Half.” A series of prints to accompany “This Land”Moving Images installation. Indra, the god of thunder, rain, and the heavens in Balinese Hinduism, sits atop Airavata, a mythical white elephant symbolizing rain and fertility. They rise above a tall gateway a candi bentar, the cosmic division between the sacred and the secular, a threshold between the earthly and divine realms.

On a contemporary level, the infrastructure of Bali can no longer support the sheer number of people who have descended upon it. The sacred and the beautiful, face challenges of over population and the lack of infrastructure to support so many. #bali #canggu #ulandanu #hindu #cyanotype #bostonartist #prints #multimedia #whitingfoundationgrant #asia #techexpressionism #watertemples #seatemples #division by @susannichter
