I live in Australia. I love music, animals, taking photos, reading books, exploring new places, eating delicious foods and watching movies.

Today’s lunch was definitely the best meal I have eaten all week. So many delicious flavours and textures served on this plate thanks to Cafe Mosman.

The ingredients were smashed avocado, broccoli rice, beetroot humus, pickled ginger, boiled egg, snow peas, edamame beans, halloumi and a yummy green dressing. Every mouthful was perfect, my taste buds were very impressed. I love eating out at cafes with friends, especially when the food is top quality like this 💚😀

I took the time to admire another pretty sky as I walked home from the bus stop tonight. The soft golden glow of the sun as it set through the trees looked so calm and gentle 💛

I made the most of today’s perfect sunny weather by catching the ferry over to Watsons Bay where I enjoyed fish and chips for lunch and then a very long walk.

I am now at home resting and recovering on the couch. I am not used to walking 8kms like I did today. I will definitely sleep well tonight 😀

Starting a new week by spending some time in one of my favourite spots. I am very thankful to have this little forest in my local neighbourhood where I can rest and relax.

I always feel happy, calm and peaceful sitting here under the tall trees listening to the birds sing and watching bees and butterflies look for wildflowers.

I hope your week starts off in a positive way too. I encourage you to find somewhere that makes you feel calm and peaceful. Happy Monday 😀

Here is a selection of photos I captured during this week (in no particular order) showing a mixed bag of different weather patterns we have had here in Sydney 😀

We are down to our last week of winter here in Australia. Spring is on the way starting in September, which always makes me feel happy and content. I am ready to say goodbye to these cold winter mornings.

This cute cherry blossom caught my eye this afternoon just as I was walking home before the last bit of daylight vanished. I look forward to seeing more of these pretty flowers come into bloom over the next few weeks 😀

Yesterday’s soft fluffy clouds looked beautiful. There were so many of them spread over the blue sky it was very hard to capture them all in these photos. I love watching clouds 😀

Walter must of been a model in a previous lifetime because he definitely knows how to pose when I want to take new photographs of him. I decided on a black and white theme today and love these results ❤️😀

I truly believe this. The choices and decisions we make can effect us in the present and also in the future.

Think very carefully about what and who you allow to be in your life. Decide what you want and need and how you can keep striving towards being the best version of yourself. Make the most of each new day 😀❤️

This is Walter’s favourite chair. He often sits here resting and relaxing in the afternoon sun. He knows how to appreciate the simple things in life, just like I do 😀

Happy Monday everyone 😀

Taking these photographs at Sydney Luna Park has been a goal of mine for a very long time. I have had the desire to capture photos of a ferris wheel on a clear sunny day for as long as I can remember but until recently I never made it happen.

As someone that loves taking pictures these colourful images make me feel happy for many different reasons but most of all because I feel satisfied and pleased that I have achieved another one of my goals.

I hope you can achieve something important for yourself this week too. Never give up on your dreams or your goals ❤️
