Our Linocut Workshop introduced children to the exciting world of printmaking through sketching, carving, inking, and printing. They discovered how simple carvings could transform into beautiful handmade prints.From playful cats and blooming flowers to museum-inspired sculptures, octopuses, and many more imaginative designs, every print reflected each child's creativity and unique ideas.As they created their own printmaking blocks, they learned about lines, textures, and patterns. Linocut has surprised me with an absolute mad level up as me hosting workshops and seeing participants showcase insane skills over two hours.⭐️It was best decision to also go for water soluble inks than oil based, it kept it easy and clean. Thank you so much @spillhouse.in to letting us host and overstay to make multiple prints. (Everyone left at 8pm when we were supposed to finish at 6pm) I’m hoping for all of us to collect more ideas (use the mini book I made for you all) so we can come back and make some original prints next time and if possible showcase them & sell :) Anybody who’s interested in learning a craft which goes on and on with layers, techniques and also if you are looking for that ASMR satisfaction of finishing an artwork, linocut is for you. ✨3rd session is the charm. I'm grateful this artwork aligned with the powerful full moon. This piece resonated with my inner child, inspired by the serene spirit of Goa and the beautiful community I'm part of.
