Finally gave Toronto’s sushi scene a proper shot 🇨🇦 @sushiyugen.ca was a solid 10-course omakase. Incredible fish selection, great service, and restaurant atmosphere. While 10 courses is a small menu in comparison to most places I’ve been, the concise selection allowed the pieces to really shine. Personal highlight was the flounder, that came outta nowhere and stole the whole dinner. The chef added a small muscle on top that was so delicate but an amazing compliment to the fish. Overall? I can confirm there is great sushi in the 6ix. 🍣🍶 by @sushixsake

Over the past few months I’ve been spending a lot of time at @ensobk. It was about time I became a regular because I love it here. This time, I brought a few friends for a 10/10 omakase experience curated in collaboration with @chef.nickwang & @chef_mikiya. Watching everyone’s reactions course by course reminded me why I started Sushi & Sake in the first place. Bringing people together over sushi makes me happy. I think it goes without saying Enso has a very special place in our hearts and of course we’ll be back again! 🍣🍶 by @sushixsake

Happy one year to @ensobk. When I first visited last year I was blown away by the level of care the entire staff shares for omakase. Every moment feels special, the sushi is amazing and ultimately Enso feels like home. This time around @chef.nickwang and @chef_mikiya put together an incredible 18 course omakase with aged yellow tail, snow crab, soba noodles, delicious o-toro and more. Special thanks to @soilairselection for providing a very rare sake selection from Japan. I had Sharaku again and it reminded me of Kyoto. Michelin Star up next! 🍣🍶 by @sushixsake
