This was my very first Body Mechanics shot, from almost a year ago. Initially, I struggled a lot. But thanks to recording video references and my teacher encouraging me to exaggerate certain actions, I started making progress! 🌱
I know it’s not perfect, but it’s part of my growth and learning as an animator. Right now, my objective is to keep working on Body Mechanics based on all the knowledge I’ve acquired 🦾🦿

Actually… that girl is me on my way to class last year 😵‍💫
Does your path to class/work have any obstacles? 👾

So excited to show you my first acting & lipsync! 👄 Working on this was a wonderful experience, experimenting with detailed facial expressions and making the character speak! 🗣️
Also a big milestone for my time management and quality ✨

What’s a girl in a dress doing INSIDE AN ICE CAVE?! 🥶 Is she Elsa from Frozen?!?! No! 🙅🏼‍♀️ Her name’s Lilian and she’s my OC (original character) –within Ramón Arango’s universe– from a personal project I was developing at university (a few years ago 👵🏼). She’s fascinated that another character lives in such an ice-cold place…🧊 (Elsa?! No!!). This project inspires me a lot, so I’m still working on it and I’d really love for it to become something real in this world someday (my mom would love that, too) 🌌

Have you ever DEEPLY regretted your outfit choice for the day? 🥶🥵
I did in Malaga… never trust Andalusian clouds ☁️

¡No! ¡¡No!!).

This was my very first animation! I abandoned it for quite some time, but when I got back to it, I was super motivated to perfect it! It was a simple exercise to experiment with the tail’s follow-through and see how far I could communicate emotions and actions through squash & stretch alone. To wrap it all up, I added some SFX. I had so much fun animating the eyes, can you tell? ‼️👀

Have you ever taken a break from a shot and ended up improving it so much more when you came back to it? 🦾✨

My first pantomime! 🎭
This shot was super entertaining to make, from start to finish. I had so much fun during acting sessions and recording the video reference (getting completely into character), as well as playing with different constraints to handle the objects.

I wanted to make a little nod to two Genshin Impact characters I adore: Lyney & Lynette!! ❤️🩵
Is there any video game, series or movie that inspires you to create? Let me know 👀

¡Mi primera pantomima! 🎭
