At 11 years old I bought a mismatched osu-mesu pair on eBay for under 20$, after 17 years I finally have reunited both with their original partner shells! The green osu was first to be reunited back in 2017, and just recently thanks to a bookoff find, the pink mesu has been reunited as well! All four devises are in well loved condition, I think thats appropriate considering the theme. Despite owning these for 17 years, I have yet to do an osu mesu run where they successfully mate. I usually get Sutebotchi, my namesake, a bad care character on the osutchi who is queer coded and unable to mate! I had so much fun exploring @tama.booki ‘s incredible collection! We hatched our penpies, did vpet surgery, and I got to play with some super cool devices, including this fake Yasashii I’ve been curious about since childhood. It has similar programming to a v1 clone I borrowed from a freind in elementary school, the light up buttons seem to not do much, and it takes two kinds of batteries! I took most of these pics on my new keychain camera for a retro vibe :-3 the video. The video clip reminds me of the tamagotchi YouTube videos I used to make with my digital camera back in 2007. by @sutebotchi

Belated harajuku market post! I wore a tamagotchi themed ensemble, including this awesome tamagotchi print Lolita dress from taobao, and mametchi broach from Etsy to the market! I was right next to the Bandai store so I got some pics. I blew a bag at the market and wore all my new accessories to work the next day. I was especially excited about my new pianitchi necklace! Also I’ve been running my childhood music star lately and remembering how hard it is lol. Yay! taken in Bandai Namco Cross Store US by @sutebotchi

My sister @femmedaddygrail surprised me with my grail white iDoggy by @trilliumbox! a dream come true! I can’t believe it! While doggiana may be missing her pink twin, she’s fitting right in with her new family, including miss @etherealgirl.bjd, my tamagotchi dolls, and many other creatures 💖 by @sutebotchi

Bon bon sticker phone case, but more importantly my worlds smallest giga pet died today 😔 I’ve been carrying him around as a phone charm, and that’s really allowed me to bond with him, I picked him up at a local toy store on a really amazing day, and have been running him for about 3 weeks. I watched him grow from puppy to normal dog. There is an ache in my heart 😭 by @sutebotchi

my OMG sweepstakes tamago! Re-ignited with passion for this after the @tamapalace post. Here’s all I know/remember about it. Please let me know if you have one or know more about them or the promotional events!

The device itself is no different from a standard tamago aside from the crystals. It came in no packaging and did not come with a COA or anything like that. It was just handed to me by the Bandai representative.

I won this in a promotional event held at a toys r us in Massachusetts around the launch of the tamago. Me and my brother were the only people present for the event (it was mostly just a table and maybe a poster) so we won the raffle. Secondary prizes were standard tamago figures that could be won by answering trivia questions correctly. I closely followed this sweepstakes and the tamago release, and vlogged about it on my now defunct YouTube channel tamame20. (I am looking for this footage on my old hard drives with no luck).

I do not know anyone else who won the local event raffles or the online grand prize. It was not shared publicly. I know there where similar events at toys r us locations across the country. I remember something saying around 3-400 were made. The only other person I’m aware of owning one is @ratamazone, who made a video sometime ago about finding a green one on eBay. I would love to know other people who own one, or other winners!

Seeing I didn’t receive a COA I don’t imagine anyone did, so I don’t know how you would authenticate these. Though I think it’s unlikely they would be faked, considering this was an obscure promotion for a tamagotchi that was relatively unpopular until recently.

I played with it a fair amount as a 12 year old, hence the scratches and missing stone on the back. It came with the original kuchipatchi faceplate, but I swapped it to this makiko faceplate as a kid and prefer this combo. by @sutebotchi

Prepping my biblical greed inspired loose uni pile for all sorts of DLC! Not letting any of that precious content slip through my fingers. Not this girl. Also what shell should I get to swap my duplicate pink with? :-D by @sutebotchi

I waited long enough to be able to buy this little guy in person! I’m already so in love, he’s my little metal freind. He makes me want to embed tamagotchis in everything Admittedly running this errand on a hot summer day on very little sleep had me really annoyed and I didn’t get to enjoy the store as much as I liked. I really liked the tamagotchi display they had out, I’ve never seen one so premium looking. Plus they gave me an extra free comic book day paradise comic! Yay! by @sutebotchi

More luck at bookoff today! This time the brooklyn location, it was a stroke of luck we had to move the furby picnic indoors there! They had several more tamas there, an uratama, ketai, ocean, paw shell nekotcha, two v1 pocket pikachus, a p2, and a white angel, all out of box in the case untested for around 18$. I only needed these two bad boys! The gamble was worth it in the end, they work perfectly. by @sutebotchi
