Have you ever wondered how hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are made? Follow me to Vienna where I visited the Croma factory to see one of the most technologically advanced filler 💉 production facilities as they package the new MagIQ (magic) filler for Obagi Medical. This filler recently received FDA approval in the USA and hopefully ChIQ (cheek) will follow this spring.
We toured the factory and had a little laboratory fun with creating our own HA filler to learn the process.
We even had a friendly competition to name 4 fillers based on how they feel to the touch and their extrusion force through a syringe 🎖️
It was an amazing gathering of many of the top injectors in the USA 🇺🇸

$Familiar with fat transfers? How about the regenerative benefits of “nanofat” also known as stromal vascular fraction? We can now filter out the large fat cells and keep the regenerative adipose derived stem cells and the other supportive cells.
