Well, I finally did it! After years of talking about doing stand up comedy, I ticked it off the bucket list last night 😁

Had the best time and really appreciated all of the support too ❤️

Hi, this is not the easiet thing to do, but on the 2nd of April of this year, I am travelling abroad for expert excision surgery in Greece with Dr. Konstantinos Kyriakopoulos (Internationally renowned consultant gynaecologist and endometriosis specialist). My consultant and team here in Ireland have agreed with the referral also.

I have made an endometriosis illustrarion to send to anyone who donates as a way of saying thank you. Shortly after you donate you will receive a thank you note with my email and you can send on your details there to receive the digital files to print at home or send to a printing service.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis via laparoscopic surgery in 2013 at the age of 22. Now, 13 years later, I've since had 2 additional laparoscopic surgeries with minimal improvement. I have tried so many ways to control the pain which is affecting my life in every way.

I have pre-op consult on the 2nd of April, pre-op tests on the 3rd, surgery on the 4th and post-op in the recovery days following surgery. We plan to leave for our flight home on the 11th unless the surgery requires more recovery time than expected.

This is one of my favourite compositions I wrote for my Masters in Scoring for Film, TV and Interactive Media last year with @pulsecollege and @griffithcollege Dublin.

I had the amazing opportunity to have it recorded in @windmilllanerecording studios with score supervision by @caterinaschembri

It is a rescore of the opening titles of @wednesdaynetflix on @netflix. Now that Season 2 is out I think it's a great time to share it.

Dad,

5 years since you left us at 2.23pm today and you are still missed terribly. But I know you would only want us to be carrying on with our lives.

Oh how I would love to talk to you and learn from you again. You'd be so happy that I'm doing a masters in composition this year, which I'm only able to do because of the unknown preparation you gave me.

On our drives into school in the mornings you would play the great classical composers and ask me to identify different instruments, training my ear in ways that have always helped me in music. But now more than ever!

What I would give to discuss all the modes and neopolitan 6ths with you right now!!! We were always such geeks 😊 I know that if you were here you would be so supportive but also loving all of the new things I'm learning so you could teach me so much more than before.

Since last year I've been able to work on your anniversary and you'll be happy to know I spent the day teaching. In my last class one of the kids passed me an elastic band that was on the floor. I took it as a little sign from you and still have it on my wrist. You always had some elastic bands of all sizes in your pocket and I remember you coming to the rescue for different people over the years with a simple elastic band!

I've noticed over the past year how I'm starting to see you more in myself. It could be the denim shirts but whatever it is, it's really comforting to see. I never saw much resemblance before but now I can't stop seeing you. It's lovely.

I'm sure you have welcomed Uncle Mike very well. I still can't believe he is gone, but it's nice to think of the two of you together again running around like idiots.

I know I'm just writing on some social media post but this is what I seem to do on your anniversary. It's not just me who loved you, as you touched many people's lives with your kindness, humour and intelligence.

Thanks for being the best father I could have ever wished for. Not everyone is as lucky. Till we meet again, Dad.
