POSTS STORIES REELS
Day in the life, VP edition: Hi everyone, I'm Suzi Robinson, vice president for marketing and communications at Wheaton College. Most of my days are full of back-to-back meetings with my team, with colleagues about new programs, things happening on campus and everything in between. Sometimes even topics like whether or not mascots should wear pants.πŸ‘– And then I get to step out into the Wheaton community and am reminded why I do it. Great students, fun events, art on campus, a special energy you can't manufacture. Grateful doesn't cover it. πŸ’™ So, should mascots wear pants? πŸŽ“ #wheatoncollege #campuslife #highered by @suzirobinson617
I was in the building when @camwilderr and @rwe.aau became NATIONAL CHAMPS and the gym was the kind of loud you feel in your chest. πŸ†πŸ”₯ Full disclosure: I build brands for a living, so I watch everything through that lens. And what I saw was a team with an identity β€” talent, work ethic, and a group that clearly likes each other. Congratulations @zerogravitybb πŸ’ͺ Who else was there?? 🎯 #basketball #aau #nationalchamps @wheatoncollege @rwe.aau @camwilderr @zerogravitybb by @suzirobinson617
Three days of filming for Wheaton's new brand video, and I dropped in for a few scenes. Nursing sim labs, art studios, the pool deck, backstage at the theatre, the dance studio, and one very committed skeleton. The finished video always looks effortless. It never is. It's students, faculty, coaches, staff, and a bunch of dedicated people making @wheatoncollege shine. Thanks @wheatonswimdive and @max_ponticelli for the cameos. Shoutout to our creative team @mr_ivantorres @sophieclarkin_ , and our film crew that included Wheaton alums, @welkin_films @sky_sabin and @_lily.maguire. You made a hundred tiny decisions look easy. πŸŽ“ #wheatoncollege #campuslife #highered #behindthescenes by @suzirobinson617
I was in Montreal recently so now I have to talk about Tim Hortons. Btw, I don't even drink coffee (how have I survived all these years?). I can't eat donuts because the gluten makes me blow up like a tick. Look at this lid. Tim Hortons molded a maple leaf right into it. Nobody needed that. And that's exactly why it works. The best branding goes beyond a campaign. It's the tiny, unnecessary details that pay homage to what people already love, and make them feel like insiders in a shared thing. Canada sees that leaf and feels seen. 🍁 Years ago I ran brand for Au Bon Pain. We'd put a little croissant icon on everything because that brand could own it and people knew. πŸ₯ That's the job. Belonging. Your camera roll probably has one too. Some little detail you just had to photograph. What's yours? 🎯 #BrandTake #TimHortons #BrandDesign by @suzirobinson617
Anniversary weekend, cobblestones, cathedrals and golden hour. Hidden gems for even more skylines (shukran), accents from all over, loved every moment. All with my favorite person next to me. MontrΓ©al, you were perfect. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ ❀️ #Montreal #OldMontreal #AnniversaryTrip #VisitMontreal #MontrealMoments by @suzirobinson617

Two Korean dinners in one weekend? Say less. First, favs with my husband: soondubu jjigae (spicy tofu stew), japchae (stir fried noodles), Korean fried chicken, banchan (side dishes) for days. πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Then, the rescheduled Chuseok dinner with @bostonkoreanadoptees. KBBQ with people who get it without explaining. 🫰 Food is comfort and connection in every language. Now it's raining and I need barley tea. Good thing H Mart happened. ❀️ #chuseok #koreanfood #kbbq #hmart #koreanadoptee by @suzirobinson617
"How do I balance classes and friends? How can I find an internship specific to my major?" Real questions from our newest CTV ad. We put them first on purpose. πŸ’™ Every enrollment marketer knows what families are really asking: will my kid be okay there? Will they come out the other side with a plan? I know this firsthand; my son just started his first year of college, and I ask myself the same questions. Our answer at @wheatoncollege is the Life and Career Design Institute. We embrace AI where it makes us sharper, but the heart of this story is human: a mentor with a name, in a real office, saying "this is what we're here for." Our students build a personalized plan connecting classes, leadership roles, and campus life with real-world opportunities beyond it. They graduate with experience, a network, a lifelong tie to Wheaton, and the confidence to build their own life and career. Brand stories don't happen without the team behind them. Proud to work alongside @mr_ivantorres, @melaniegendreau.copywriter, @sophieclarkin_ and our stars Kathleen M. Potter @wheaton_lcdi and @ejrsy. πŸ‘ Marketing a college means remembering who we're talking to, not an applicant pool. Real people. πŸŽ“ What's the question your audience is actually asking? Are you brave enough to open with it? πŸ‘‡ #HigherEducation #EnrollmentMarketing #BrandStrategy #WheatonMA by @suzirobinson617

πŸ™ The Great Elephant Migration 🐘 Went on a whim, went at night and it was...magical. Each one is handmade and raises money to protect actual herds. I stood in the middle and felt very small in a good way. This is why I go by myself or drag people to art installations because some things you can't understand just from a photo. ❀️ My hat says WooSox in Korean and I have never loved a piece of merch more.πŸ§’πŸ‡°πŸ‡·First @gowoosox game for Korean Heritage Day. Perfect weather, great ballpark and a reminder that representation hits different when it's on a baseball cap. Thank you so much @bostonkoreanadoptees for organizing us and for the BBQ this weekend.
