Feel like you’re failing at everything?
I help working moms lead in faith, family & career without burning out. CEO • Author • 30 yrs TV ↓
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I spent years feeling guilty for wanting it all.

The career. The family. The faith. All of it.

And I kept searching for a roadmap that could hold all of it at once.

Nobody had built one yet. So I did.

I just discovered a powerful way to help Christian working moms stop living in guilt and start walking in bold, God-given confidence,
by working through my Called to All of It roadmap.

This is not generic coaching.

It is a structured path built by someone
who has lived exactly where you are standing.

Burned out.
Torn.
Quietly wondering if she chose wrong.

Inside this roadmap you will learn:
→ Why God wired you for all of it, not less.
→ How to release the guilt without abandoning your calling.
→ Where your confidence has been hiding and how to reclaim it.

I am looking for a limited number of Christian working moms who want to experience this — for free.

We will spend time on a 1:1 Vision Call together.

You will walk away with clarity on your alignment,
a path forward that honors faith, family, and career,
and permission — finally — to be called to all of it.

Comment “FREEDOM” below
and I will send you the link to book your spot.

Can we stop acting like loving your career makes you a less devoted mom?

You can love Jesus, love your family AND love the work God has given you.

I spent decades leading television newsrooms while raising a family. And yes, I genuinely loved my career!

Were there tradeoffs? Absolutely.

But I don’t believe God asks us to apologize for the gifts He’s given us.

The goal isn’t to do EVERYTHING. It’s to get clear on what matters most and live accordingly.

That’s what being Called to All of It is about.

Want to discover what’s anchoring your decisions?

Comment AUDIT and I’ll send you my free audit to help you take the first step toward living confidently Called to All of It.

Ever accomplish something big and immediately start thinking about what’s next?

Oh, I know that feeling!

I love setting goals, leading people and accomplishing big things.

One of my biggest ongoing life lessons is learning there’s a difference between enjoying success and needing success to feel worthy.

As Christian women, our identity isn’t found in our titles, achievements or how much people need us.

We’re beloved daughters of God.

And when THAT becomes our anchor, we can pursue big dreams without asking them to prove our worth.

That’s where we start in Called to All of It.

Want to discover what’s really anchoring your decisions?

Comment AUDIT and I’ll send you my free audit to help you take the first step.

The shirt says it.. In October we wear pink. We do it to raise awareness and save lives..

Eight years ago this month I was recovering from a double mastectomy and starting chemo.

I’m here because of early detection.. and I’ll be here longer because of advancement in genetic science and treatments.

Keep your doctor’s appointments. Educate yourself. Advocate for yourself and others.

What if you could grow your career without constantly wondering if you’re letting your family down?

Because I know that feeling.

You want to do big things.

You love leading, making decisions, solving problems and using the gifts God gave you.

But then there’s the guilt.

The missed school event.

The late meeting.

The moment you’re with your family but your mind is still at work.

And suddenly you’re wondering if you’re doing any of it well.

I spent decades leading television newsrooms while raising a family. And I learned that the answer isn’t always to work less, dream smaller or give up something you love.

Sometimes it’s about getting really clear on what matters most in THIS season.

Because here’s the thing.

You can love your career AND be a great mom.

Will there be tradeoffs? Absolutely.

Will you get everything right? Nope. I certainly didn’t!

But you don’t have to measure your success at work by what you’re missing at home. Or your success at home by what you’re accomplishing at work.

You need a way to make decisions that reflects your faith, your priorities and your calling.

That’s why I created Called to All of It.

Not because I believe women should do everything.

But because I believe we shouldn’t have to apologize for loving more than one part of our lives.

If you’re a Christian working mom who’s ready to grow without constantly feeling pulled in every direction, comment CALLED.

Let’s figure out what being called to all of it looks like for YOU.

Why do we feel like we have to defend loving our careers?

I’ve never understood why being a working mom sometimes comes with the expectation that you should feel a little guilty about enjoying your job.

What if you actually LOVE what you do?

You love leading people.

You love solving problems.

You love making a difference.

And yes, you love the paycheck, too!

But somehow, when we talk about loving our careers, we feel the need to immediately explain how much we love our families.

As if one somehow takes away from the other.

Here’s what I believe.

God gave you gifts, talents and abilities for a reason.

You don’t have to apologize for using them.

And you certainly don’t have to downplay your love for your family to be taken seriously as a leader.

You can be a great mom AND a great leader.

You can love your family AND love your work.

And you can let your faith guide how you show up for both.

That’s what Called to All of It is about.

If you’re a Christian woman who loves her family and the work she’s called to do, comment CALLED.

Being an ambitious woman and a mom can be your superpower. ❤️

Motherhood has taught me to see people more clearly, adjust when plans fall apart, and remember why my work matters.

And I want my son to see what it looks like to use the gifts God gave me. To work toward something that matters. To keep learning.

Hi, I’m Suzanne. A wife, mom, author, and former TV news boss. Around here, we talk about living our faith, loving our families, and pursuing our careers—without constantly feeling like we’re failing at all three.

I don’t have it all figured out. But I believe we can love our families deeply and still have big goals.

Welcome to the side of the internet where we stop apologizing for either.

If you’re a Christian working mom who feels called to all of it, you’re in the right place. Follow along. Let’s encourage each other.

I used to think being a great leader meant being the person who could handle anything.

Need someone to take on another project? Sure.

Have a problem nobody else can solve? I’ll figure it out.

Need someone to step up? I’m your girl.

And for a long time, that approach served me pretty well.

Until I realized something.

Every time I said YES to something, I was saying NO to something else.

Sometimes it was time with my family.

Sometimes it was my own rest.

Sometimes it was the space I needed to focus on what really mattered.

And here’s the tricky part for high-achieving women.

We’re often rewarded for being the ones who can do it all.

But just because you’re capable doesn’t mean you’re responsible.

And just because someone needs you doesn’t mean God is calling you to be the answer.

Learning to say no hasn’t made me less ambitious.

It’s made me a more intentional leader.

I still love big goals, meaningful work and making things happen.

I’m just learning that I don’t have to do EVERYTHING to do what I’m called to do.

And neither do you.

That’s a big part of Called to All of It. It’s not about doing it all. It’s about knowing what matters most and leading your life accordingly.

If you’re ready to stop saying yes out of guilt and start making decisions with clarity and confidence, comment CALLED.

Have you ever wondered if the career you love is costing you too much?

It’s a question a lot of successful women quietly ask themselves.

You worked hard to get where you are.

You love leading. You love making a difference. And you’re proud of what you’ve accomplished.

But then you miss something at school.

Or work runs late again.

Or you realize you’ve been thinking about work all evening instead of being present with your family.

And suddenly you’re questioning everything.

Is this worth it?

Here’s what I’ve learned.

Every meaningful yes comes with a cost. But that doesn’t automatically make it the wrong yes.

Sometimes the answer is making a change.

Other times, it’s learning to stop measuring your worth as a mom by what you missed.

The key is knowing what matters most in THIS season and having the confidence to make decisions that align with it.

You can love your family deeply AND love the work God has called you to do.

You don’t have to apologize for either.

That’s what Called to All of It is about.

If you’re ready to stop second-guessing how faith, family and career fit together, comment CALLED.

One Mother’s Day, my son wrote, “My mom loves to work.”

Oh, the guilt I felt over those five words.

I loved my family. I loved my work. And somehow, I felt like I was failing at both.

Christian working mom guilt is a whole bucket of its own. In this week’s blog, I’m sharing that story—and why I hear his words differently now.

Feeling pulled between faith, family, and career? Comment ANCHOR to get started.

Where are my Christian working moms who actually LOVE what they do?

The ones who love Jesus, love their families, AND love their careers.

The women who get excited about a big project.

Who enjoy leading teams, solving problems and making things happen.

Who have worked hard to get where they are and aren’t ashamed to be proud of it.

But who also know that little voice of guilt.

The one that shows up when you miss a school event.

When you have to travel for work.

Or when you admit that sometimes you really enjoy being at work!

I spent decades leading in television news while raising a family. I know what it’s like to love both worlds and still wonder if you’re doing enough in either one.

Here’s what I want you to know.

You don’t have to feel guilty for loving the life God has given you.

That doesn’t mean every season is easy. Or that every yes is the right yes.

It means you can be intentional about your choices without constantly questioning whether you’re a good mom.

Around here, we’re not chasing perfect balance.

We’re learning to align our faith, family and careers with what matters most.

Because you CAN love your family AND your work.

And you don’t have to apologize for either.

If you’re one of these women, follow along! I think you’ll feel right at home here.

And if you’re ready to stop feeling pulled in every direction, comment CALLED.

What if God isn’t waiting for you to get less busy?

You know the routine.

You tell yourself you’ll get up earlier tomorrow to read your Bible.

You’ll spend more time in prayer when this big project wraps up.

You’ll focus on your spiritual growth when life finally slows down.

And when none of that happens, here comes the guilt.

I think sometimes we turn our relationship with God into one more thing on our already overflowing to-do list.

But God isn’t waiting for you to get everything else done before you spend time with Him.

He’s with you in the meeting.

In the carpool line.

In the hard leadership decisions.

In the ordinary moments of a very full life.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Intentional time in prayer and Scripture matters. We need it!

But your faith isn’t supposed to be one more area where you feel like you’re failing.

It’s supposed to be the foundation for everything else.

Maybe instead of trying to squeeze God into your schedule, it’s time to start letting your relationship with Him shape how you lead your life.

That’s a big part of being Called to All of It.

If you’re a Christian woman trying to navigate faith, family and career without constantly feeling like you’re falling short, comment CALLED.
