The saddest goodbye to the one who showed me life with a big dog. My buddy Lucky, my shadow, the Monk Seal, Snakey Boy, Stink Beast, Speedy, Dudu Boy, Little Grey, Scooby, The Darkness, etc, etc. Lover of sticks & coconuts, falling asleep on the floor at bars, zoomies, new rugs and ocean swims. (Hater of small dogs, affection after 9PM, and screechy kids.) Johnny rescued him as a tiny puppy and gave him the absolute best life - 11 bonus years, and I was lucky enough to share 4 of them. 🩵 by @suzzvee

Oceanfront in Waialua: ✨ Susanne’s Version ✨ Swipe to see the *After* and *Before* of what I would do given FULL creative license to update this perfectly picturesque unit.

Went all out with color and wallpaper, but come on, this place is a blank canvas for 1,200 square feet of your beach-front dreams with mountain & ocean views.

My goal was to preserve the Koa wood & travertine as much as possible, while bringing in more color and tropical patterns to liven it up. This unit has some cool, unique built in panels and mirror features that I tried to keep as well. Most of my updates (aside from the ZLine appliances) are budget-friendly ways to update the space!
