Did you know @serenacherrycat has a solo project called @noctuleofficial where she writes songs about video games?

Today she released a new song called Goddess of Rot, which is all about Malenia from Elden Ring. by @svalbard

🎤🎸🇬🇧 Episode four of HEAVY STORIES will be WHY SVALBARD ARE SPLITTING UP!

Singer/guitarist Serena Cherry sits down for an extended interview about why one of the UK's most forthright and innovative bands are calling it quits. She opens up about the broken touring industry that's impacted not just her and her bandmates, but artists across the board, as well as the creative push-and-pull that prevents them from making more music.

We also chat about the history of the four-piece, why it's so important to take a clear stand against injustice in your lyrics, their plans for their ongoing farewell tour and what to expect when they bow out at Arctangent festival this summer.

The interview drops Monday morning. Until then, follow us for exclusive sneak peeks and check out all current episodes via our link in bio!
