Moving from the Pfalz vineyards into Berlin to be closer to the community that drinks their wine, @0800naturescalling is a natural winery founded by Sven, Louisa, and Nicolas. For them, it is as much about access and culture as it is about what’s in the bottle.

We spoke with them about urban winemaking, which bottle to start with if you’re new to their wines, and where in Berlin they go to slow down.

Da wir uns langsam unserem 1. Jubiläum nähern, wollen wir endlich mal hallo sagen

Bevor wir drei uns bei Nature’s Calling in Berlin zusammengefunden haben, hat Sven als Gastronom das legendäre @chez_trinkhalle in Darmstadt aufgezogen und als Innenarchitekt Orte gestaltet, an denen Produkte und Gastgebertum gelebt werden.
Bei Nature’s Calling fährt er unter dem Alias „Sven Schumacher“ in Rekordzeit Weinbestellungen aus, scheut sich nicht vor unliebsamen Exceltabellen, hat stets ein strahlendes „ei gude wie“ auf den Lippen und ist die Anlaufstelle um nach Feierabend standhaft „einen wegzupetzen“ 🍻 @svengrol
