i am filled with grief. my beautiful, beautiful boy left me the morning of june 17, suddenly and unexpectedly

i’ve been here just drifting between denial and hysteria, unable to navigate the fact that my days moving forward won’t physically have floyd in them. the loneliness is palpable. i feel the absence of his presence in everything i do

floyd was as pure as they come, the most special, gentle, old soul and he deserved the best and he deserved more time. i would give anything to have more time with him

it has been the greatest joy and honor of my life to be his mom, loving him and being loved by him. i still can’t believe, with all the people there are in the world, that i was the one lucky enough to be able to call him my home

without my floyd, i will forever feel this giant hole in my heart and in my life. he was the brightest light on my darkest days, my best friend, my puppy, my bubby, my bathroom lifeguard, my adventure partner, my cuddle boy, my security blanket, my world, my soul mate in dog form. i will love and miss him for all of time 💔🕊️ i hate this by @svillers
