Unemployment // Era
.
.
.
As my unemployment era comes to a close, I have to say how incredibly lucky I am to have been surrounded by the best of the best. This has been one of the best summers of my life. Don’t get me wrong, being laid off from a job of eight years was a brutal blow, but there was definitely a silver lining.

I got to hang out with my dog and go to the beach almost every single day. I went to Soldier Field to see Oasis! My apartment is officially the cleanest in Chicago. I spent so much time with my nieces and nephew and even hand made Roo’s Halloween costume. I watched (and screamed at) the Eagles every Sunday. I traveled to California. I listened to so much Taylor Swift and cooked so many dinners. I was there to pick up my oldest niece from her first day of high school and finally got to see her in a swim competition! I went to so many concerts... oh, and I lost 25 lbs! 😎

So, If you were around and checked on me…
Thank you. I love you. 💕 by @svstheday

I flew 2,000 miles to see @theformat in CA with @racheleavingtown .

Nothing, and I do mean nothing, could have prepared me for how I felt seeing this band again. @nateruess and @sammeans , this was an incredible show and we all hope to see you back on the stage so soon. 💕 taken in Hollywood Forever by @svstheday
