swaamp studio has been such a beautiful journey this past year! i had no idea it would grow so much in such a short period. it gave me so much joy to see the happiness it brought others each week.

every single person who has ever signed up for a class—thank you for your support. it means a lot that the community wants to support local artists and accessible ceramic classes!

and as for swaamp studio, maybe you’ll see more of her in the future! miami has a way of making things always come full circle.

It’s always so lovely to have everyone creative in the space… and even lovelier when you have close friends come pay you a surprise visit!

only three more classes left! feeling bittersweet that it’s ending soon, but like they say — all good things come to an end eventually.

We had our last class where new students can join last Thursday! Any current students with unfinished pieces will be reached out to with private invites for classes this week to finish up.

some shots from last week’s classes!

swaamp studio has seen so many wonderful artists visit this past summer—from old and new friends alike.

looking at the kiln firings and prepping for my move, I’ve made the decision that this week will be the last week I’ll intake new students! It’s a matter of timing and logistics with kiln firings and making sure everyone gets their piece finished in time 🫶🏻

I’ll be sending out private invites for the last few classes for folks to finish their pieces. the last week of September 23 will have a private party to close out the studio for some final memories.

thank you again from the bottom of my heart, none of this would have been possible if not for the amazing community support. your support of the studio has brought together hearts and helped fulfill a childhood dream of mine to move abroad.

Another clay studio night — don’t miss out this summer! Folks have asked about other days, so we have another open studio classed planned tomorrow (Thursday). It’ll be poetry-themed, in honor of @saragomez’s Wordsearch community creative writing workshops starting this Saturday at @whiterosemia !
